  2. For these few months, the game always alt-taps itself back to windows screen while i am playing normally, i didn't press any button to cause it, but it's bugging me out while i am flying. It happens every few minutes or sometimes it will never happen, i usually leave google chrome on, don't know if it affects. I've searched google and can't find answers, is there any fix to this bug?

Ok, I am quite done with this carrier, Years practicing, approaching steadily, 3 degree G/S touch down right for wire 2 (checked it on camera, sometimes the hook with retract the second i touch-down roll to the right 15-25 degree even i do NO flight control input. Bolter, damage or explosion < pick one for the result. Back when the jet DLC was out there is no problem...

    I've been testing with mods and without mods and seems the problem disappeared after update (if i am correct there's no jet DLC update in the patch notes) I will keep track of this problem and try if it happens in multiplayer

    Yes with mods I just did 5 landings: 3 without mods <all smooth touchdown and good trap 2 with ACE and CBA <1 smooth touchdown and trap and 1 trap with a bit of roll don't know if i am lucky or what, but i will test it with my milsim team's mod set and try to figure which mod makes the hook gone crazy yesterday it was all good touchdown but all bolter+roll/slide on deck... weird here's my last try of the day, with only CBA and ACE installed

    ILS needs to be 3 degree on ground and on carrier, same as PAPI Jet tends to slip and slide even touching down at wings level damage on landing even not a hard landing, only on carrier landing because i never flare, put her on with constant 3-4 degree glideslope tailhook tends to retract itself after touchdown, result to a bolter nearly everytime i land when a perfect landing, i need to touchdown early to make the trap tailhook too short compared to F/A-18
  9. I am sorry, Waypoints doesn't work, as soon as i start the game (placing them in editor facing where the waypoint are), they will climb a bit and turn left 90 degree and gone wild, before i can even make them fly formation by micro adjusting the WP, but now they simply ignore the WPs
  10. before the Jet DLC update AI "DO" follow my placed waypoints and fly straight to that location but now they tend to just say "F**k you" and fly around on their own right after game starts even i put a waypoint for them. is there any coding for me to force them to fly a straight line and also change altitude?
  11. agreed, i love how the community give me a big NONO when i said the landing speed need to be increased and stop being like a Cessna 172, and then the jet DLC came out and F/A-181 land at apox. 280kmh don't know if copy & pasting the vanilla jet's flight model works

  14. no, it's kinda accurate. but it's not the radar, it's the DAS sensor of this girl. she detected a Falcon9 rocket launch from 1200+km away. (DAS: http://www.northropgrumman.com/Capabilities/ANAAQ37F35/Pages/default.aspx) btw, the EOTS sensor is missing the right texture

    It's been a long time, as i know, no one fix this issue that brings unrealistic game play to ArmA3 jet game-play: wrong ILS, Instrumental Landing System. The ILS in real life works like this: which use...blah blah blah... and have a 3 degree glide slope, which is around ~600m/s for vertical speed. But the one in ArmA is having a ILS glide-slope that is more than 5 degrees: A steep glide-slope may, or will cause a critical and deadly damage to the landing gear, which will cause a crash on final. Having a right ILS is critical to all jet pilots when landing at bad weather, or even night, or even having short range graphic generation which will completely make them blind on a normal ILS approach or a extended base leg. I hope this will bring attentions to the developer and correct this mistake. At last, I would like to thank all developers and mod makers for their hard work towards the coming Jet DLC. Here's the ONLY glide slope that i found right in ArmA3 (i dunno why...):

    maybe a placable ILS system as a object, because I've seen alot of group having their own pad. but maybe this can bring up on another topic. but before adding another system in, they need to fix the current one first. duplicating the problem will only make things more complicated

    if i was not mistaken, there's no guidance system for helicopter to land since heli can land everywhere, you should trust your skill to estimate the descend and touchdown zone (my flight instructor in ArmA3 told me to aim 5 meters foward of your touchdown zone and come in like a plane with slow speed

    When I force feed ArmA3 with your ArmA2 version of EF-2000, I felt in love with that jet, the model have been done perfectly, it beats all the jets in ArmA3 on cockpit model and also HUD (most accurate ILS system). but sadly some physics are kinda wired and every time I try to taxi and land and the jet just turn "top-gun" to "initial-D" XD I am looking forward for the release, good luck!
