I'm still waiting for it Tried to do it by myself... but have no success ... Maybe you can add this one little, small, tinny... slider ... to make one more man on this planet happy ??? Please ...

    Thanks for reply and for future improvements That exactly the problem - now it does not work as vanilla AI ! just try it in my mission "A-164 GAU cannon usage problem" you will notice that with your mod AI tend to use only cannon instead of missiles. I understand, didn't know that you try to be as realistic as possible. For my taste it looks more "cinematic" with flash effect. But as you with, it's so matter. Another thing that i noticed - the smoke from ground hit effect disappear to fast, looks like it need to stay much longer before disappear. (I understand that you changed it to preserve performance but still it looks little bit weird) Thanks.

    Ok, i got it. In case you will find out how to do it i and others will be very glad. Anyway thank you ! Sorry cannot agree with you, there is a lot of MODs in any game that does not add something new, that just allow to extend, change and improve everything related to gameplay. And such a MODs usually not less welcomed that others. In case of ARMA - it is a big and complicated game, with a lot of aspects that can be improved by game developer or community. Specifiec about this "Aircraft Loadout" functionality, i forgot to say that i mean MOD for "single player". So, i still sure that if somebody can make such a MOD, that allow you to select weapons loadout for any flying vehicle, while it stand on the ground near hangar, ammo truck or carrier, it will be very useful MOD for many players. I also wandering why Bohemia didn't add such functionality in Jets DLC...

    Thank you very much man for update and fixes !!! ... i'm afraid to be annoying ...but there is two new problems... 1-st After you fixed that AI was not using cannon at all, now AI use ONLY cannon :( ... I mean it almost use only cannon and it looks especially weird while A164 attack heavy armored ground vehicles mostly with cannot, that much less effective against them, instead of using onboard guided missiles and bombs. Vanilla A164 AI is much more balanced in this aspect. It use firstly missiles against heavy armored vehicles and cannon as additional weapon only. To test this problem you can use my mission "A-164 GAU cannon usage problem" from previous post. Just try to run it with and without MOD. 2-nd looks like it is BUG... now A164 doesn't have canon fire flash and tracers, it only have ground hit visual effects. Once again to test this problem you can use my mission "A-164 GAU cannon usage problem" from previous post. Just change time from day to night and you will notice the problem. You also can compare with vanilla firing effects without MOD. Thank You !

    ...the problem is that not every mission maker use this script, and i'm not talk about already existing missions so as player i'm really depending of mission makers if they care to use your script that is the reason why many scripts in amra community become a mod after all about "installation procedure" nowdays it really simple you just once subscribe for a mod in steam shop by pressing single "+" button and afterwards it automatically update without user interaction. just look at the problem from simple user perspective that doesn't have any technical skills but he want to have ability to change vehicle loadout in ANY mission you did something great but it limited only for those who know "how" ... it looks unfair... :)

    Thanks for improvements !!! please add also adjustment for speed, height and selection of loiter point (by map cklicking) as i mention before, there is already existed script, that do exactly everything you try to do from scratch (in this mission http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=727797421&searchtext=death+from+above) so maybe it simpler to contact script maker and ask him permission to use it in your mod ? or, at least you can sneak peek how things done there :)

    Thank You very much for this MOD! Maybe you know mission called: Death from above - Blackfish at work from Steam? It have very useful script integrated into the mission. That allow to set: loiter point (fly around), radius distance, altitude, speed, e.t.c. It will be GREAT if you can ask permission from script maker and integrate this script into your MOD or do something similar by yourself. (for all flying vehicles not only for blackfish) It fit nice into concept of you MOD. What do you think? Thank You.

    Hi everyone. I discovered 2 problems with "GAU-8/A Avenger" mod in A-164 Plane. I also included 2 missions that can be ran in mission editor for problem testing assistance. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B34OngdaQ68xMzYtMmdmdXFoN0E (Mission Editor missions path is C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Arma 3\missions) ------------------ So the first problem is inability to select air and ground targets while GAU cannon is chosen as a weapon. ("Select" means to mark the target with square mark.) In game settings (Optoins > Controls > Weapons) you can assign or change key to select targets. It's called "Target select (in vehicle)". By default it use "TAB" key. (Not sure because i changed it) So without MOD, with generic cannon selected you can select targets and cycle between them without any problem. But if while using "GAU-8/A Avenger" MOD it impossible to select and cycle targets. (It still possible wile AA-Missiles selected but NOT with cannon selected) You cant try to run mission "A-164 Target selection problem" to test this problem. There are two unarmed helli's and two unarmed ground vehicles in front of your A-164) ------------------ The second problem is AI refuse using GAU cannon while "GAU-8/A Avenger" MOD installed. Try to run the mission "A-164 GAU cannon usage problem" without MOD. You will notice that two A-164's ordered with "Seek and Destroy" command try to attack enemy's not only with rockets and ground missiles but also with CANNON !!! (Usually first A-164 is down but second one continue to attack with cannon on each run) BUT if you try to run this mission WITH "GAU-8/A Avenger" MOD so you will be notice that AI NEVER use GAU cannon !!! It only use rockets and ground missiles. * I tested this problems without any other MOD. * I use the latest "GAU-8/A Avenger" MOD from 2016-12-13 * I tryed this mod with and without CBA (Community Base addons A3) mod. Thank You.
  13. Hi, can somebody point me to right config file that include Mk-1 EMR magazine settings (bullet amount e.t.c.) i tried to search in "weapons_f.pbo" , "weapons_f_beta.pbo" and "weapons_f_mark.pbo" but still cannot find proper config file :( Thanks for help!

  15. I don't know. I just want to edit it for myself. I want to increase capacity from 20 rounds to 30 and increase weight by 30% that's all. Do you know how to do it ?
  16. In this particular case i just want to increase magazine rounds amount and magazine weight accordingly of Mk-1 EMR rifle.
  17. I ill be happy if anybody can teach me how to create addon that change something without touching original files ! But i'm not a programmer so i lack of necessary skills. Currently after each update that Bohemia update release i need to manually edit some PBO files to change some configs and replace some textures. It really annoying. Anywhere i do it for my self only and i play only single player. If you can help me with teaching how to make an addons for my needs - i will be glad, or at least help me to find the PBO that i asked before. Thank You!

  20. Hi, thank you for this great MOD !!! I have two suggestions for this MOD: 1. Bleedout is great, but it would be nice to have option in settings file to disable bleedout for units that are in vehicles of any type (In many gameplay scenarios it can cause problem with mission completion). So settings file will have option to toggle bleedout for "on foot" only or "global" - include all vehicles. 2. Currently skirmish can be enabled or disabled only in settings file, so player need to choose if he want this option "on" before he start the game. My suggestion is to add "on the fly" option to "turn on" or "turn off" skirmish while you play any mission just via "in game" menu (that you scroll with mouse wheel) Thank You!

    ARMA 3 - official mod, ADR-97 weapon pack

    I also love ARMA community. Believe me or not - i know/tried almost every mod that available for arma 3 and plenty of missions too, but i sadly noticed that most of those really great mods are abandoned - no support for amra updates, no changes and improvements, no bug-fixes, no posts and replies from mod-makers... I really don see how payed mods can harm the community? If somebody personally wish to make content for free - so they are welcome, but if some prefer top earn some money for his work - why not ? But let push the payment subject aside, the main idea of my post was that before Bohemia promote Steam Workshop, they need to take care of very serious problem like - Inability to download content from workshop, so the the whole idea of workshop is useless for people like me. And heavily contaminated workshop, that have no rules and restrictions and become more useless each day!

    ARMA 3 - official mod, ADR-97 weapon pack

    I understand that Bohemia try to promote usage of Steam Workshop, but before doing this they need to fix some serious problems with it !!! 1. “Just click the Subscribe button†– not that easy at all ! It will work fine if you installed the ARMA 3 to Steam folder in drive C only !!! If you chose other disk to download ARMA 3 while first install, so most of the content from Steam (almost everything) will not be downloaded and appear in launcher ! Yeah you got it right – you press the “Subscribe†button and it turn to “V†sign and there is even a message at the bottom of steam window that say you - it “downloaded†but it not really download them and display in addon list ! (This is not only my problem, this it very common problem for a lot of users, just google it, I personally tried it on different PC’s, with different operating systems, with clean install, No MOD’s, Steam and ARMA3 latest versions always but no effect…) 2. Currently ARMA 3 workshop in Steam looks like a trash can! Bohemia need to create some repost restrictions and rules to avoid multiplying items in steam. It was great while Bohemia just began to use the Workshop, but now most of a content just repack of mod’s created by other mod makers, so anybody can just take any mod and repost it under his personal account, without any permissions and responsibility, they even don’t care to put a description and a screenshots. For example, I just can take this new “ADR-97 weapon pack†mod and post it like my personal mod… So if you are a new arma 3 player so you can download a lot of outdated mod’s instead of getting the original. 3. Launcher is not stable at all, sometimes it remove all installed addons from it list, delete them from HDD and then redownload all of them again. 4. I remember that it was some talking about payment system to addon makers via steam, some time ago… So I think that Bohemia really need to implement such a system for ARMA 3 ! ARMA 3 it’s a game that strongly depend on a community created content, but as a big fun of ARMA 3, I just noticed that the about 80% of content (like mod’s and missions) just become abandoned by creators after some time… I think it happen because all those time, skills and creativity that they spent to create a content doesn’t return them any profit, except some mental satisfaction, that “work†only for some first realeses … If there will be an ability to earn some money for they hard work, I think it will cause significant grows of the number of a content and a quality of it.
