  8. I'm not sure about that. Every vest I've tested, including obvious retextures need changing. Unless I'm wrong, if it doesn't replace the vanilla textures, they re-hexed it and it's calling its own config and needs to be redone, which is most.

    RC 1.54 (Nexus Update) testing - feedback

    I somewhat like the new stamina system. Yes, it's not about realism as much, but look at where the majority of Armas player base is right now, Life/Wasteland servers. Those who want realism are mainly in private groups. And to this end, BI released a bunch of new scripting commands so that they can tailor the system to their liking, and even included a option to use the old one all together. Even public realism servers can include these custom stamina scripts, and everyone can use them. I kind of like it. The thing I'm worried about, for me at least, is the way the vests are handled. I run a lot of legacy unit mods that aren't supported anymore, so if I want to keep using them I might have to learn the new system.

    C2 -Command And Control

    So not sure if this is would be considered a bug out not, considering the mod, but I figured I'd let you know anyway. I decided to play the campaign, and noticed that I was put as squad lead automatically, even when I was supposed to be subordinate to one of the story characters. In this case, SSG Adams in the beginning, he'd run to his first waypoint and stop, waiting for orders. Unloaded C2, worked flawlessly. I haven't gotten to where you command a squad yet, but I plan on turning it back on and seeing how it goes.

    You can do that in the regular editor now. When you place a waypoint over a building, you get the option to have them move to a specific spot in the building.

    Seconding this, it would be awesome if this made it's way to a CSAT replacement pack. Liking this so far, much more beliviable than space Iranians. Can't wait for the rest of the units to be finished!

    Just played around with it. Awesome update! All the cool features that were borken in the last one have been fixed. Suppression works great now, and the new formation mode is really easy. The ability to disband groups into seprate HC units and then rejoin them is absoutly amazing. Love the new pop-up menu as well. Great work!

    United States Air Force( 2015)

    I've ran across one issue. When using the BIS Virtual Support moduel, every aircraft with the exception of the drones and AC-130s spawns above ground, but not moving. They spawn in about 50m above ground, engine on and gear down, and they begin to spin up as if they're trying to take off, but since there's no runway they just fall to the ground and explode. Anyway to prevent this? I'd love to use these on some missions.

    So how do we set up a destroy the building mission if we can't see the object IDs or link a trigger to a building? Or start a mission with a destroyed building/tree? Every method I've seen requires the object ID.

    What about syncing a map object? In the 2D editor, you could show object IDs and sync triggers to buildings and such, but I can't find that button anymore, and nothing pops up when I open the sync menu. Am I missing something simple?

    Vcom AI V2.0 - AI Overhaul

    Can also confirm some strange AI behivor with move waypoints. Editor placed units won't follow waypoints at all, they just keep going in circles. Even if I turn the AI off with "this setVariable ["NOAI",1,false];". However, if I place units using Zeus and give them waypoints, they go on as normal with no issue. Tested plain vanilla with VCOM AI. Just using it with Zeus though, I'm really excited for this mod. The AI looks and acts like nothing else I've come across, really good work.

    Arma 3 Eden Editor Sneak Preview Live Stream

    Just played around with it some. Got a lot of errors starting it up, but it's probably a conflicting mod. Once I got in and played around I was blown away! Absoutly amazing! Now I'll probably sink even more time into the editor and the game. Great work BIS! Those are some pretty awesome pictures! You can easily make some extreamly detailed missions with this.

    Would it be possible to allow the editing of the keys used to select units in HUD mode? Like using the number keys instead of F keys?
  24. I wonder if there is any plan to implement a virtual system like vanilla Arma has for support, just spawn the aircraft in already flying and then despawn it. Would fix that issue.
  25. Has anyone gotten ALiVE CAS to work with fixed winged aircraft for more than one run? Or with multiple aircraft? It seems like no matter what aircraft or map I use the AI manages to take off, but they either don't land, or land and get stuck somewhere. I've never gotten it to work with multiple aircraft, as when one lands it gets stuck on the other. I'm guessing this is a Arma AI pathfinding thing?
