NouberNou: Still stunned by this project.

If you don´t mind, can I ask for your (and ACRE team in general) background? I mean, are you programmers, telecommunication engineer, military personal related to communication? Just curious...

I would take a look at DevHeaven for it, but its down. =\

I am a programmer by trade, and Jay is as well (security specifically).

We are both military aficionados and enjoy good coms as well as radio technology.

did you try to install ts3 64 bit ? it can be a TS3 problem version

The ACRE plugin is visilbe in plugins, looks ok, but TS crashes in about 1-2 min of start. See spoiler.

Since v1.0.7 was stated as TS3 crash is fixed I want to inform that I got a TS3 crash on Sunday. Killing TS3 process and start it again helped.

Ya, just busted out most of the underlying retransmission code last night. Using an RTO's backpack radio will soon be possible as well. :)

Version 1.0.8 is now released!

* TS3 no longer needs to be ran as an administrator

* Complete engine re-organize for performance re-write

- No longer relies on ArmA2 script scheduler, runs every frame regardless

- Fixed delays when a lot of AI is on the map

- Fixed excesive script/scheduler lag

- Messages should all be "real time" now

* Retransmission subsystem has been implemented with API functionality to add a retrans point

* Updated for TS3 B26

* Fixed text error where at starting without the addon should say "ACRE TS3 Plugin is not started" instead of "bad ts3 version"

* Version mismatches should now should on 1.0.7 clients if 1 person is running 1.0.8

* Fixed issue where dead bodies/other players were giving duplicate lower/raise headphones actions

* combat deafness, wounding and ear plugs compat are now all enabled by default

- Wounding causes 75% volume muffling when unconcious

- Combat deafness makes you 'go deaf'

- Ear plugs muffle sound by 15%

* Fixed a randommly occuring script error with antennaLength

* Fixed a script error where inputing a bad frequency would throw an error

* Fixed multiple TS3 crashes and hangs

* ACE on-back now partially works

- A mission *cannot* put a radio on the back in the init line

- but you can now move a radio on/off your back in game and it still works

* ACE weights added to all radio types

* ACRE_PRC119 and ACRE_PRC117F are now also ACE rucks

* ace_sys_rucks_hasRadio will now flag true for ACRE items

Any perticular order on startup?

Do i need TS active?

Do i have to be logged in on a TS server holding ACRE?

I started TS3

Started ArmA2 OA CO with Ace and ACRE

TS3 crash

And yes i did as the install notes said.

Didnt find any EXE so i did it manual..

If you have a sprocket install make sure you install the 1.52 patch EVEN if your game reports 1.52 at the moment.

You could also be getting this because you're running the new beta in which case JayArma2Lib is not compatible with it at the present time (afaik).

1. hit FREQ

2. type in your digits

3. hit CTO

done.

Thats the same way its always been. I have a feeling you forgot about hitting FREQ

We are still having some persistent issues with the reload/multi-server/reconnect-disconnect from TS3. Best to get fresh starts on all with the ACRE plugin active in TS3.

Thats because your entering a non-standard freq. The frequencies are spaced by 0.025 now. You can only have a freq on a a value divisible by 0.025

I said it has to be divisible by 0.025 .....

simple math. Stay with me here.

55.555 / 0.025 = 2222.2

That is NOT divisible by 0.025

55.500 / 0.025 = 2220

That IS divisible by 0.025

oh oki sorry i'm french, sometimes it's hard to me to understand

edit : try with frequence 55.500 and still flashin 0

and sorry to say that but entroduce some math in the GAME was not a god idea it's a game not the real life don't ruin the gameplay
