cri74 10 Posted July 13, 2010 Hey krtkllr70 and welcome to the forums. Now.. as i understand it your problem is related to patching the game. If you bought it DvD or online it will be trying to install patch 1.06 for ArmA 2 and there may be problems in the installer. After it fails try to open the installer file by right clicking and giving it administrator rights, apply and OK then rightclick it again and run as administrator. If you have'nt installed ArmA 2 then the installer will select a folder option by itself. Try running it a few times and if you got your game installed be sure to check for updates... if your game is running slow i would suggest a defreagg of the Hard Drive, ArmA uses a lot of files and is poor on memory settings. You will need to correctify some settings yourself. Welcome to a truly excellent military immersion. Lets start it basic...get this file and unzip it...run the patch .exe in the extracted file and check Version in menu after game start. If it has changed, to 1.52.7xxx patch is applied and you can fire up MP Another tip..if you keep your style ans attitude in MP you won't have much fun on most servers exept the most noobish ones. Do what Beagle tells you to do. 3. Write a post confirming if it worked or not. But for the love of goodness, calm down. If you throw a hissy fit like that once you're serverside, you'll be out on your arse before you can say "kick-ban". And if it truly doesn't work, I do belive your best course of action would be to get your AMERICAN MONEY back, as you yourself suggested. Have a NICE DAY.
