Australians At War Addon Team - Infantry Units

Is this just a multiplayer mod, or can these units be used in the SP mission editor?

I have followed the instructions for mod folders but not seeing any Aussies in the BLUFOR range for the editor...

Do you have ArmA 2 or only Operation Arrowhead?

A lot of ArmA 2 addons wont show up in Standalone OA because the ArmA 2 classes that they are based on, are not present in OA.

For example the AAW Infantry inherit from class USMC_Soldier, which isn't in Arrowhead.

I have both mate, but I've tried making the folders system and now keep getting an error about cba :S

and I have NO idea what on earth CBA actually is.. LOL

Hey guys!

I have some problem with these units, whenever I try to place ANY unit in the editor it gives a "No entry 'model.optics'" message, I use Combined operations and your ACE weapon pack.

Are you using ACE 1.5 or 1.3? I had to revert back to 1.3 cause 1.5 kept throwing that error at me as long as I was using the Aussie troops.

Hi guys,

We are just in the process of updating the weapons and the infantry units to make them compatible with OA - hopefully you won't have to be patient for too much longer.

Great pack, I've always liked the camo the Aussies use. What map is that screenshot on the front page taken in?

Have checked thorugh the additional rtf files, have found weapon class names, but not units? Anywhere anyone can point for this?

Also, I believe that 'SoldierWMedic' is a global medic class (at least for BI units) so we are using this in Norrin's revive for units that can revive. However it doesn't work for the AAW medics, so we have been specifing specific units (which is annoying if using a clan-wide mission template).

ie

_can_revive_2 ="aawInfantryMedic1_dpdu";

_can_revive_3 = "aawInfantryMedic2_dpdu";
