Clavicula_nox4817 0 Posted March 31, 2010 If you love a defense where you sit back and wait, I'm sorry. Al Quaida isn't doing a lot of planning with Hellfires falling on their heads. Unfortunately for us, they don't have Hellfires falling on their heads anymore. Besides, Al-Qaeda's role in the world changed post-2002. I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that some things in the world do in fact change.

Clavicula_nox4817 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Seems to happen every 3 or 4 days in Pakistan. Seriously? You think that the UAV strikes are targeting Al-Qaeda? Are you aware that the Taliban is not the same as Al-Qaeda? If you aren't going to take the opportunity to educate yourself on the situation, then I am not going to take the time to do it for you. HyperU2 11 Posted March 31, 2010 (edited) Here's a memo. http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5iMH8oCWcCU8WgnZljEldEzrtFlGg But for the record I do lump them all together. Taliban, Al Quaida = targets. Edited March 31, 2010 by HyperU2
Clavicula_nox4817 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Here's a memo.http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5iMH8oCWcCU8WgnZljEldEzrtFlGg Your "memo" does nothing to support your statement. I didn't say Al-Qaeda wasn't present in Afghanistan or Pakistan, I said the UAV strikes were not targeting them. Surely the concept isn't as difficult as you're making it out to be. *edit* Anyways, your article is talking about "Al-Qaeda in Iraq" which is a different animal from Al-Qaeda. But then again... But for the record I do lump them all together. Taliban, Al Quaida = targets. Jesus Christ. Sometimes I feel embarrassed to be an American.

Bulldogs 10 Posted March 31, 2010 Strapping enemies into one catagory of "the enemies" isn't a bad thing. Just strap 'em all together. Taliban, Al Quaida, Codemasters, whatever. In the end, aren't they all the same....

Link to Daily Mail o matic Hi all Good find on the daily mailomatic STALKERGB it lets those fortunate enough not be exposed to it get an inkling of how it works. Now imagine a journalist spewing that every second for tens of minutes just so they can report that it was said in the press conference; and you will have an idea of how the mail works and what it was like for everyone exposed to it. And that is just the headlines, the paragraphs below them are even more sickening. The Mail is without doubt the most vile news paper in existence. I have never read more than a paragraph of it at the shop counter, or scanned its headlines on my way past the news stand, shook my head with eyes closed to clear the pollution from my eyes and brain and instantly thought trash. As I say at the Lumley/Gurkha news conference I was unfortunately exposed to tens of minutes of one of its journalist and she was spewing the most vile filth imaginable, that it almost made my head explode. If I had been near the woman I would have given them a new headline "Incensed citizen makes Mail journalist swallow own feet and hands." Still maybe a simple STFU might have been more use. Madus_Maximus 0 Posted April 3, 2010 HAHA that headline generator is SPOT ON! The Daily Fail is a truely disgusting excuse for a "newspaper". It's one of those publications that makes the idea of free-press worth a second thought. Most people here in the UK just see it for what it is. The term "Daily Mail reader" is often used to offend someone who has very black and white views on things like racism and so on. They're usually rather ignorant and out of touch with reality (sounds like politicians, but that's another subject lol). It's always the end of the world according to the Mail! How it still exists is beyond me. As a side note, they're also regular contributers to rather epic Photoshop failures. Although why on earth a "reporter of the news" has any reason to doctor photographs is beyond me. Another feather in their fail hat I guess.

STALKERGB 6 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) Thing is, with the Daily Mail, I find that becuase it is so bad its often quite funny to read. They had an article about how DYNAMITE can cure your cancer!
