Other than ACE of course, since it doubles loading times.

Clicks usually means Kilometers. It's kinda a slang word as far as I know.

EDIT: Unless I totally misunderstood your question.

thanks, i thought it may have been when looking down your sight you have lines that determine the distance of your enemy, thought two click may have been 2 lines down from the default centre of the sight.

Hi guys, i got a new pc with Windows 7 os. I installed ArmA 2 CO and patched it up-to-date. All modfolders are in place, but the mods are not working. I tried to launch the game with the ArmA 2 Launcher, but the mods are also not working .

Any ideas ?

Fixed. I forgot to patch up OA. :)

Not sure if this is the right section but, I just got ACE for OA standalone and I have two questions. One: is there any type of lazer range finder? the v-21b doesn't give me range to target. Two: how do I use the items like spoting scopes, face masks and earplugs? I take them from an ammo box then they show up in the same area in my gear as my compass and stuff, but how do I use them? I really want to get good at sniping in ACE but I need to know these few things. Thx:)

this is for Ballistics.

as for bombs, bombs fall faster when you fly faster, as for mods for "slow bombs" dont believe there are any.

Have you tried A2WarMod as that has about 90% of the addons and mods that deal with ballistics, Ai, effects, tweaks, fixes ect,. for Arma2

Yes it blends in with all, in patch everyone have baf (british armed forces) lite version wich basically is full without campaign and low textures.

does anybody know whether there is a possibility to change from the window-ed mode to fullscreen?

I often start in window-ed mode (with "-window" in the desktop-link) but after some time want to go on in fullscreen mode without having to start the game (and the server) again. :o

Mouse wheel stopped working for no apparent reason. After clicking center wheel I cannot scroll menu choices. Mouse wheel works fine scrolling forums. Are there other ways to scroll up and down in-game menus???? Windows 7 Arma2 OA ver 1.56.

This is a matter of unit's current behavior. In combat situations units automatically switch to "COMBAT", in which they really tend to react to threat more than to your orders. They listen to your orders, but they provide themselves covering fire and there's the "bounding overwatch" going on so it could get really slow. If not in combat, have your units in "AWARE" or "SAFE" behavior.

I recommend you to try some AI mods (ZeusAI, SLX), it can really surprise you.

Oddly enough, I do have Zeus AI and SLX AI enhancements installed, I don't notice that much of a difference, probably just me though.

Thank you so much for those guides! It helped me quite a bit.

The only problem is when I open up the menus, the options are often times greyed out, so I can't select stealth, or the combat mode. In part one of the video of the text-tutorial, I saw he was commanding team red to move when they were fighting. Whenever I do that, my teammates decide to ignore me and not move, and stay in the grass, getting shot.

Also, how do I go into high-command mode? I did the tutorial on it, you press ctrl+space, but when I do that, nothing happens. Who do I have to be in order to be a high-command guy?

program files/bohemia interactive/arma 2 oa/

I then made the new folder labeled @SoW2_AO like it said, changed the properties of the .exe when I launch it, and nothing, the mod didn't work. It's compatible with OA as well. I tried the installer as well, didn't work.

Where do I put the missions I d/l as well?

think enter brings up scroll menu, then use arrow keys to scroll, pressing enter to use

Okay, I realize the SoW mod actually had the addon folder already inside of it, the guy who created it made it easy to install. However it still doesn't work for me.

Now I'm booting the game from a shortcut on my desktop, so when I change my properties the location of the .exe is in quotations, does that effect anything at all?

That or is anyone familiar with the program that does it automatically? Again, there isn't much info on how to use it.
