The Jub-Jub Bird 1 Posted May 4, 2002 fair point. A small list of things I would love in the game. In terms of American planes I want: Grunman A-6 Intruder. I think it would be great in a mission when you start off-shore and conduct small bombing runs on a coastal strip and recon before zipping swiftly out. The plane isn't too fast (max 1006km/hr at height). Shame there are no (and never will be)aircraft carriers, but still you don't need to take off or land in every mission. A-4 Skyhawk for much the same reason as above, but minus the bit about the aircraft carrier and coming in from the sea. Might need a parachute on landing...which may be tricky to implament. AV-8B Harrier...already talked about extensively...shant go into it again. A-7 Corsair II, excellent precision gound attack fighter, again with a reasonable max speed. C-130....obviously Fast Interceptors, carrier based multi-role and defence suppression fighters have no place in the game...so none of them. Russian planes: Mig-21. Can't reach Mach 2 unless flying at extreme altitude, so shouldn't be too fast. Fighter/bomber/reconnaissance ideally suited for such combat in my opinion. Â American armoured vehicles I want ingame: LAV-25, Bradley is probably better, but I like the LAV alot. Towed Rapier for AA. Radius and precision would need to be reduced for plyability. Russian armour I would like: ZSU-57-2. Beefy predicessor to the Shilka, not very accurate, but cool looking. SA-13 Gopher. Russian AA missile defence system. Look sweet as a nut, not towed like the rapier, but not as precise or deadly. Be great defence for Kolgujev. American Choppers: CH-53 Super Stallion (and Sea Stallion) ....ohhhhh mumma. Not really adding anything to the game...but does it need to if it rock the world like that thing does? Misc: More ship models as scenery.
