Just cant seem to connect, Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Rcon vertion 1.5

Game is hosted on UKGame windows server

v1.59.79384 (Windows, Dedicated)

Command line:

-mod=@CBA -config=server.cfg -ip=89.238.152.213 -port=2324 -profiles=profiles -netlog -BEpath=BattlEye\BEserver.cfg

BEserver.cfg is located within BattlEye folder in main Arma2 folder on server

BEserver.cfg contents:

RConPassword mypassword

MaxPing 200

In RCon tool:

i am using ip=89.238.152.213 port=2324 and the correct password that is in the BEserver.cfg which is in the BattlEye folder

but it says can not connect.

What am I missing?

Hello Telson

BEserver.cfg shall be located in Profiles/batteyefolder

and you dont need that in our command line -BEpath=BattlEye\BEserver.cfg

I think you battleye turned on in our server.cfg

and if your connection dont work compare ipadr with gametracker we had diffrent ip`s

Two things:

- BEpath= shouldn't include "BEserver.cfg", only the path

- check if there is a BattlEye folder in your profiles directory, if so put the config file there

BE Server v1.117 adds the new BE command "missions" (similar to ArmA's #missions), that allows server admins to retrieve a list of mission files on their server and subsequently load a mission using the game's #mission command via BE RCon.

for everyone else, if you have reasonable feature requests (like missions was)

feel free to post them or mention to me (will see what can be done)

Reasonable Feature Request:

Reserve Slots?

Allows GUIDs in a file named reserved.cfg (or something like that) to be able to join the server if it's full and it'll kick somebody to make room (say highest ping?). Other reserve slot players should be protected from being kicked by another reserve slot player.

Feature: Being able to see the ingame chat in the be-console.

Bugs: The problem with over 40bans makes the "players" command not work, and BERcon looses connection to server.

: BeBanned clients trying to connect taking up slots as AI .

Edit: Sorry its not the "players" command that makes BERcon disconnect, its the "bans" command.

make it possible to not only log the GUID and timestamp to the banfile

add

GUID | TIMESTAMP | REASON | NAME (curret of ban) | IP (curret of ban)

Time and Date stamp please :)

Are you talking about the time when the ban was added?

- Global database for automatically download global bans from Battleye.

Would be nice for new server admins to have that options to enable/download a global ban list :)

- Banned by IP, opportunity to add IP's, Singel IP and IP range to ban/kick
