nice to see that a lot of person start to understand the power of this mission (around the world :-) )

I the first fan of VTS that why I decided to continue after grimm's (excellent work)

beta 4 is in progress , l'etranger is working to increase the mod portability

add new units will be a kid game in the Beta 4

based on config files"one mod one config file"

really easy to create groups too

just by using arrays

In the past few days, every night, more than 25+ peoples on the server and battle under VTS in China.

There were some battle videos:

But It was has some problem:

1. When the new player joined in the game, the transport menu can not update and show the player's name. By the way, can you change the transport players's name to dropdownlist?

2. When we has a lots of players in the game(about 25+ guys), and after I create a lots of units(about 50+). The new AI unit can not work, the tanks can not move, the plane will crash............................and they can not show on the GPS......

3. It is very hard to add a player to another player's team....when they stay in close.

2 - I didn't experienced such issue with a lot of units (200) but not with many player. About the plane crashing, it's a bug giving bad velocity to orientation, it is fixed for B4.

3 - I will take a look if the maximum zoom on the map can be increase to help with this

we have played VTS Beta 3 multiple time without this problem

So 2 options

1 - I thing that your ACE is not propely installed

2 - it's a bug of the last ACE version (I can't test it for now)

Just did a Multiplayer Coop Mission with about 30 cogamers and ACE2.

No problem so far without VTS.

So I don't think my ACE2 install is the problem.

Ok .. I can wait for another solution to come up. :o

Only had time to test chernarus but the nuke not working only get a red circle on the map in vts computer and nothing happens.

The Nuke is a ACE II addons.

Did you run the mission with your ACE II shortcuts?

Try with Kegety's unpbo, they was pbozed with Kegety's pbo tool

First off, I have to say... your VTS project is incredible. By far the most flexible and easy to use method of creating quick coop missions and expanding them on the fly if necessary. Kudos!

I'm having a graphical issue with the new Beta 4 release that I'm hoping you can help with, because I LOVE the new functionality you have added to VTS with this release. I've traced this issue back to VTS Beta 4 after removing all mods besides CBA and ACE, as well as testing with Beta 3 releases on the same maps as the Beta 4 mission with the issue.

It seems as though the shadows are the only thing being affected. Nearby shadows disappear, shadows cast on characters are not visible and the shadows will alter from visible to invisible dependent upon the player's angle of view. (Shadows from 3 to 9 o'clock are visible, but from 10 to 2 are not?) Like I mentioned, this error only occurs after running the Beta 4 release of your mission, but once it has run the shadow issues only resolve if arma is closed and restarted.

Any ideas what could be causing these issues? Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

I can't test your problem for now (I m in holiday :)

have you tryed to change the time of the mission ?

The shadow bug occure with high or very high shadow settings. It's a weird one, i dunno why a mission should break the rendering engine.

My though about it is it could be du to the units teleported far up the sky above sea surface. I will try to test other thing.

The workaround is to decrease your shadow detail

I found that in Beta 4, the position of where objects are placed, and where the mouse cursor is actually pointing, is different. Like, I would go to place an object at a particular position, and it when would appear slightly to the right of where I had the mouse pointing to.

Also, the example script you can execute, 'Enemy paradrop', doesn't seem to do anything, as does 'Nuclear Impact'.

use the 3D button to place something with precision

'Enemy paradrop' is broken for now

when it work this script, a chopper drop some enemy parachutes over players

I will repair it
