"The sales are strong with this one (A2)".

Recommended Posts

ArmA 2 seems to be going strong in sales. Unsure if this is worldwide or in AUS only.

Good to see though. :)

In the UK Arma 2 is still in the "chart" section in all the games shops ive been in at a respectable retail price, which is good going really seen as a lot of games on the PC disappear into the bargain bin within 3 months of release, even the good ones!

I think it partly is because of the bad job done distributing physical games to the stores in time. So people buy the game where they can get it, digitally.

I bought ArmA2 for £24.99 on the first day of release, which is a fairly cheap pricepoint for a brand new game. It represents the most value I ever got from something, considering how much time & enjoyment I get from it.

Yesterday I was in town and the same shop is still selling it at 19.99, nearly a year after release, again, an unusual occurrence. I think, given what I know & think about ArmA2, that this situation is appropriate.

It's going for only 12£ on Amazon UK so I think that tells something about the sales.

The more players the better, we need all the potential modders we can get ;).

In another year or 2 ARMA 2 with its mods will be the ultimate complete combat simulator.

I was in a Gametraders recently and saw a brand new copy of Queens Gambit for AU$4.95! Arma2 was $90..

The fact that the game is selling still in AU stores from $60-$98 means it must be selling reasonably well.
