Any improvements to the preformance after 1.05?

Well, they say there are improvements in cities and towns where there are many buildings. Running ArmA2Mark gives me basically the same data as before.

Stutter amongst trees for me now in 1.05. Even had a CTD. Apart from that it seems really good.

Haven't really noticed any improvement over 1.04. Maybe a little less pop-in and stuttering but it's hard to tell for sure.

I hadn't any freeze or CTD since now, but a lot of pauses and "receiving" messages. Performance seems worsened however.

All my settings are on NORMAL, and visibility to 2500m

Longer object, especially vegetation, drawing distance is no free lunch. Reduce your

viewdistance if you want to do a fair comparison.

Before 45% object drawing distance, back to 66% again.

Means reduce your viewdistance about 15%.

Higher drawing distance also means higher Resolution LODs are drawn to a longer

distance. In other words objects at mid distance will look better!

Cities are vastly improved due to fixing the super shader texture bug.

Make sure to test without AI your performance - ref ArmAIIMark is no good choice.

The AI will eat every free performance it can find naturally.

I was hoping I'd get to play this game at higher than 23fps but nothing has changed for me.

I had high hopes after seeing the changelog.

Review your settings, driver, hardware and scenario (AI or PvP or DS).

Since most people say theres no performance improvement can any of you guys tell me if its possible to play without CD because i love it and i can do it if i keep the beta patch and do not upgrade. Thanks in advance guys

Less hd stutter in cities, but the buildings still use way to much CPU time imo. More needs to be done. I still have other perf issues too.

Trooper: Saved missions rarely work on any game after a patch, there is too much changed.

Well I know that, but what I meant was can you start the whole campaign again fresh, save a point, and then continue from that saved point in COOP?

Seems a little better to me

Maybe because i defragment Bohemia Interactive directory after every patch with gamebooster

Takes about 2 minutes to do but files get fragmented every time u install a new patch

Also this patch fragmented more than any beta update which usually takes 30 seconds to defragment

Sooo has anyone been playing the campaign in COOP since this patch? It would be really nice if this one OFFICIAL feature was fixed.

SP seems a bit better if not the same as the beta patches to me but what I did notice is that hosting the Superpowers or Civilwar maps or anything warfare related on my PC so I can play SP is unplayable now. Performance sucks. That's all I really played before and now it's useless.

Bit surprised by how CPU limited the game is, even with NO AI in the editor... GTX275 SLI with 3.6Ghz Core2Duo and fps drops to 22... max about 45ish.

I've said this before in previous posts, I believe the game is doing too much rendering of the graphics with the CPU, or there is some inefficiency, seems more graphics draw could be offloaded onto the GPU.
