bocoknight 10 Posted December 20, 2009 (edited) Hey I was thinking of making a RTS component to the game and have it command and conquer 1 themed. Players can harvest tiberium build bases, infantry, all from the universe of C&C..... I like to know if this can be done and if anyone would be interested in making this happen. I have not modded a game really only warcraft 3 and I would like to learn. I can program in C++ so all I need help with is the syntacs and maybe some other things. Yep the C&C OFP/Arma mod is dead since some time... Drew 10 Posted December 21, 2009 Has anyone played Battle Zone 2 Combat Commander or even the original Battlezone? would be bad ass if we could get those units & items in Arma 2 :D heres a video to go along with it, This game was ahead of its time, even before OFP & ARMA series, it was also 1 of those modable games out there check the videos out, if anyone is interested it would be awesome to include these items in A2. Hey that looked exactly the way I wanted though why give up on the project... I need to find a Team to work on something exactly like that but finish it...... ahahah I wonder though if it was FPS.... I see the RTS stuff... any who thanks for the vid I will look into forming a Mod team together to work on such an endeavour.... Let me know if you know anyone who is interested.... jackass888 0 Posted December 21, 2009 Uh i completly forgot that arma 2 already has a RTS-like gamemode built in. Its called Warfare and you can construct factories from a top-down view and then buy units. MAYBE it is possible to adapt it to new C&C units, add harvesting and a better GUI. ot: Yes dawn of war would be most awsome.. anyone know what is the status of the Ofp team?
