Macser 776 Posted March 2, 2016 I figured this was the best place to ask about this, as it relates to addons. Some of the Star wars addons released by Acacyn used scripts for auto take off and landing, amongst other things. Does anyone know if he created these himself or was a third party involved? I'm not much of a scripter and have enough to do in other areas. So being able to use them as is, for my own work,or being able to make some modifications would be great. But it's hard to ask for permission, when you're not sure who the author is. Besides that, I believe he's hard to locate these days. Any help would be appreciated. krzychuzokecia 719 Posted March 4, 2016 I don't know about Acacyn's work, as he haven't provided any detailed credits, but Cell7 in his X-Wing pack credits old scifi mod VTOL script and credits for his Millenium Falcon say Thanks to KaRRiLLioN for his great scripts. Macser 776 Posted March 4, 2016 Thanks. I've seen Karrillion's name crop up. But I wasn't entirely sure. As you said, the credits were either non-existent or very scant. Although I think he may end up being as illusive as Acacyn. :) If anyone still left out there can replicate the scripts used in these addons that'd also be a big help. Specifically the auto-takeoff and land features. In the meantime I'll do some digging. EDIT: I decided I'd have a go myself and see what I come up with for takeoff. I like the results so far. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done and fairly tidily. Although a publicly available addon with a set of these "sci-fi" style scripts would still be nice. As for stuff Guziczek have wrote - this is all still WIP, so I won't be posting any of this until Gemenis (mod leader) allows me to do so. Even though - WIP stuff is hardly playable, as configs are makeshift only to show units/vehicles in editor.
