=SEALZ= SFC UncleSam -T2- 10 Posted August 18, 2009  ok , wth happened to the aircraft, did BIS forget to test them? When will this sicking yaw crud be fixed? you can't hit a thing with a GUA12 or any cannon on a jet. Does BIS even know how bad it is? Can someone plz explain how this got released in this terrible condition? This speaks volumes about the game creators and testers, good god not even ofp aircraft sucked this bad. Arma1 planes were fine, so what happened, does BIS NOT want us to use aircraft anymore , YO ACE dudes ,now there's ya some realism. lol oh not to mention the tons of other errors and issues, to numerous to mention, just check your Arma rpt file. Hope you've got a few hours to read it! YO BIS you all might wanna drop the clan or whoever it was doing your flight testing, when will this be fixed? patch 1.0xxxxxx what? good grief , hurry before the community drops this steamy pile Uncle
cjsoques 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I admit, to call ARMA2 a military simulator when considering the realm of any types of vehicles (ground, fixed-wing, helicopters) is an utter joke to any other flight simulators. But your attitude is also an utter joke and your point will not be made as this thread is probably gonna get slammed by a mod. If you took the time to state your complaint in a mature manner, you might get some reasonable discussion going on as to the many reasons why vehicles are severely lacking. I'm not happy about it either, but to respond like that does no one any good. Lastly, the vehicle physics of this game has been around since OFP so I never expected it to be improved since they didn't fix it in any patches of OFP or ARMA. They also were forced to release such a buggy product, so it's not all them, it's the publisher. Lastly again, there was a free demo that you could try out some of the vehicles with, so you should have tried that before buying the game. I don't understand how you state that the ARMA1 planes were fine, sure I think they flew a tad better but it wasn't like it was sim level either. Chillax :)

Nutlink 10 Posted August 19, 2009 This is the one thing that keeps me from jumping back into jets from ArmA 1. I can't stand it. For now I only pilot helicopters because of this.
=SEALZ= SFC UncleSam -T2- 10 Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) Slam me back lol why would i care? I paid to have the right to whine about what BIS would call a sim, the truth is the painful truth! BIS and the lack of testing is the issue here, imagine how arma2 sales would go if they announced "Hey gamers!! We know you've been waiting and waiting and here it is, we have an untested game that has a crap load of bugs, ONLY $50+ AND THEN WE MIGHT FIX IT", man!? now that sounds like a winner to you ?lol OK, Guess they didn't wanna take an extra year or two tryin to fix it , humm where and when did i see that happen??. Ok? so i'm to grab a demo, with all the talk and waiting.oooookayyyyyy, I had arma1 from the day the German version was available and in hind sight it did take a lot of patches to get it right, but at least the aircraft could fly straight. Guess i should have known but just didn't wanna believe they'd screw up a good thing, Arma2 is a worse then arma1 was. I'm finding it difficult to believe they didn't notice these issues, lol how could you miss the yawing all over the place? Oh, other then never flying/testing the aircraft. So what it really is, THE TRUTH PART ,is BIS could care less about the gaming community/consumer and just uses it to finish the development . I guess the idea is, A.why test/fix it, might be a flop right out of the box, B. might get upstaged by another better game , C. make'em whine some before we fix it. lol take your pick. I could go on an on an on, but whats the point, I just want it fixed, asap After years of arma1 , yes i'd call it trained. The gun fired straight instead of zig zaggin back an forth. Have you all even noticed this?? ok enough! i'm growing old just thinking about it. plz BIS just fix it!! Defunkt 431 Posted August 19, 2009 Geez, take a step back, you're banging on and on like the whole game's completely borked because of one (hardly catastrophic) issue in a game of this breadth? You need to get out a bit more.
Rough Knight 9 Posted August 19, 2009 I also find it amazing things like that passed the QA testing prior to the games release. In saying that, I imagine the publisher should be questioned more than BIS, but I can understand your frustration. I am sure that BIS would have fixed many of the issues prior to release if it was able to push out publisher game completion dates, but sometimes developers hands are tied by their publishers requirements. Anyway, you can be sure these issues will be fixed...we all just need to exercise a little more patience and enjoy the game for what it currently is. My feeling is that because so much more is possible with this game than most FPS, many more bugs are present because of that, we need to inform BIS of the games issues so then they can be remedied. There is absolutely no point in just flaming BIS because that will never fix the game. There are bug trackers which would be a much more constructive means of getting problems seen too. See links below. http://dev-heaven.net/projects/cis/issues Thanks Rough Knight.
