It's not just the G36, same thing should be possible with an ACOG (they're mounted in a way so you can still use the ironsights). You'd switch it using the menu (just as you switch ammo types now), or using a shortcut key (has to be added). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mr burns 132 Posted July 27, 2009 There was no ammo bug present in 1.00, just watched my video again and noticed that. Shooting in full auto with reflex sight (down to 9) Switching to Semi with Kolimator sight (still at 9) The fix however introduces the ammo-refill bug back into A2, dunno how or why as only vanilla 1.00 config entrys were used. btw: Don´t hold your breath for BI putting it back in, im quite disenchanted about this, and some other things .... :pet5: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

kremator 1065 Posted July 27, 2009 If it was in and now isnt, then it will likely be a config problem. If you are up to it, search the 1.0 config for the G36 and identify the part for the red dot. Usually, after playing the Single Player missions and the Campaigns, I concentrate exclusively on multiplayer (and I'm far beyond that point now... all I play is MP and fiddle in the editor). No matter if some people use it and some dont. It´s just this little ammo bug nuisance that might keep server admins from allowing it - but that would only make sense in PvP tournaments as i doubt that anyone in this community likes to cheat on themselves by exploiting the ammo bug - especially in non-competitive gaming lol At least Germany Fun and our Stammtisch allow mrb.bikey Other than that i didn´t try any servers at all .. so you might have to search around a bit or nag server operators to add my key to their setup :D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
