Physikz 10 Posted July 21, 2009 Cheers for the heads up but is it worth updating from the beta version?
Jonney Napalm 10 Posted July 21, 2009 That's what I was wondering. Probably not, as it's the same number (190.38) as the beta and the PhysX version number is the same.
wooly-back-jack 10 Posted July 21, 2009 I've installed them and I don't seem to be crashing as much, mind you I have altered other things (like I noticed in cfg it had 3d rendering as 1280x800 when in ingame settings it had it as 11**x896 so I altered my cfg to match ingame settings) I have also left physX enabled on this new version, not noticed any difference tbh. ICE-Raver 10 Posted July 21, 2009 I just installed them as well. I'll play some today and see if there is a noticeable difference from the 188's I was running.
datter 0 Posted July 21, 2009 The 190.86 betas are mighty awesome (for me). Not sure if I'll bother moving to this non-beta version. They're no doubt essentially the same and I've no complaints with the betas.
Eugefunk84 10 Posted July 21, 2009 hmm, this is good news. I'm running the 186.18 driver right now, hopefully we'll see some campaign performance boost......hopefully. will report back after I install it later tonight

no use for a name 0 Posted July 24, 2009 any results on these? or are they pretty much the same old story? I'm tempted to install them myself but I just want to get some feedback before I do the 'dance'
-=seany=- 5 Posted July 24, 2009 these drivers mess up forced AA and AF through profiles for lots of games.. back to 186.
maddogx 13 Posted July 24, 2009 Went from 182.50 to these, then decided to remove the "performance" parameters (-winxp, -maxmem=2047) from the Arma2 shortcut. Performance in-game is now pretty much the same as with 182.50. Will need to run a few more tests, perhaps re-add the parameters and see what happens. So far I can't complain. ICE-Raver 10 Posted July 24, 2009 I updated from 188.xx's and I can't tell a difference in performance good or bad. I'll keep them.
rocko 16 Posted July 26, 2009 (edited) I updated from 180.08 - which works perfectly, but ever set of drivers after this just fails to correctly load textures. I use the default settings on nVidia control panel with the SLI patch if this helps - is there something I'm doing wrong? btw I'm running an Asus GTX 295 Edited July 26, 2009 by Rocko added gfx card
datter 0 Posted July 26, 2009 I updated from 180.08 - which works perfectly, but ever set of drivers after this just fails to correctly load textures. A) Then I would stick with the 180.18's I use the default settings on nVidia control panel with the SLI patch if this helps - is there something I'm doing wrong? B) You don't need the SLI patch with these latest 190.38's btw I'm running an Asus GTX 295 C) There's your problem.

bangtail 0 Posted July 26, 2009 What do you mean, "C) There's your problem."? He's talking about the 295. I wouldn't be surprised if there are issues with that card specifically. 3 months for working drivers with FC2 and the last "2 in 1" Nvidia card (9800GX2).
