bangtail 0 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) I am going to give these a whirl to see if they fix the RAM detection problem under Win 7/Vista etc. XP and Vista/Win 7 flavors : http://www.xfastest.com/viewthread.php?tid=26094&extra=page%3D1 Just scroll down a bit for the links. Eth ---------- Post added at 01:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:43 PM ---------- No change. These 185/186 drivers are garbage tbh. Nvidia is obviously having a lot of trouble with Vista/Win7 drivers at the moment. Eth Edited July 6, 2009 by BangTail
-s!Gm4- 10 Posted July 6, 2009 I tried the "Xtreme-G 190.15 Display Drivers" from tweakforce. I don't know if those are really "newer" drivers than the 186's... but they didn't solve any of my problems.

But i suggest to keep this thread running. I think it'll be helpful once new drivers come out/ s.o. finds a set of drivers to go with :)
FraG_AU 10 Posted July 6, 2009 Likewise, 182.5's have been the _ONLY_ driver set I have managed to use to get SLi working and has been compatible with all my games. 185's have been an absolute disaster, lol worst drivers I have ever had on any GPU! Problems with a lot of my games

Problems with a lot of my games Yah, agreed mate, they are awful - and not just for A2. Not a fan. Hopefully Nvidia will sort it out. Eth
datter 0 Posted July 6, 2009 I'm using 186.18 and having no problems. In fact I get slightly better FPS using them than the 182.50's.
bangtail 0 Posted July 6, 2009 I'm using 186.18 and having no problems. In fact I get slightly better FPS using them than the 182.50's. That's not my experience under Win7/Vista. And I tested them on 4 different machines. The unfortunate truth is there are major issues with the 185+ drivers and they are not limited to A2. Glad they are working for you though. nuggetz 0 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) I'm running 186.18 as well after downgrading from 186.20 and fixing my sli profile. I'm gonna try the 182's tonight. After much tweaking I'm getting playable frame rates now with both 186.18 and 186.20 although 186.18 seem smoother. I used to get hung up with the benchmark but now I just jump right in and play and its been ok. I may bench mark all 3 driver versions now that I have a good SLI profile to work with.
