The smoke launchers on the towers of tanks (LAV 25 in my test) shooting only extreme short effect fog. After 5-6 seconds, the fog is away.

1.03 (Steam version) bug.

When many weapons sounds are occurring I get distorted sound and it fades out and crackles.

My system:

- Windows Vista Ultimate 32 SP2

- Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer soundcard using 2.18.0013 driver

The function "Kopfnicken" (sorry, german - i think in english it is "blur") cannot be changed since version 1.03.

version 1.03:

When mobile HQ gets destroyed in campaign you still have the option to build a base HQ. Nothing else will unlock after building base HQ and the destroyed vehicle does not disappear. Base HQ can be planted over and over again.

When taking over the bases in a mission the takeover timer doesn't always show. (mostly it doesn't)

AI in the campaign (even on recruit level) are still expert shots. got killed by a machinegunner from about 1400 meters away...a machinegunner with a burst salvo meaning 3-5 rounds.

Save games from 1.02 still die even with the patch notes portraying that they work, just that some fixes might not kick in until new mission.

Just on a sidenote; when making a base buildings and defenses should actually follow terrain instead of being built in a horizontal line. Makes for really weird views of a wall's undersides. SOmething about it was mentioned in the notes but i think that was editor scripting only.

Just installed the 1.03.

Gained just little in performance, about 5 frames.

But also got a knight in shining armor:292:, with the latest patch.

(Doesn't happen every time)

It happens when im reloading, and switch at the same time to

external view.

Patch 1.03 has been released and the exact same model bugs still persist.

The model shadow does not affect own player body (arms and weapon) while in 1st person view.

Wow! Not that looks frickin cool, return of the zylons! :D

But you really dont wanna see it on your pilots who´re wearing olive drab uniforms by default *sigh*

Just played an MP mission and noticed two whole groups of Blufor that were patrolling (i suppose in careless behaviour) and didn´t want to open fire or recognize me as a threat, even after i killed a few of them! They just kept going on in their routine with a very idiotic "wtf piss off already" look on their faces and of course, got killed like it was skeetshooting practice.

Why is it that you always have to break half the game when applying a few (so called) fixes?! :confused:

Four new bugs cropped up today with v1.03 (steam);

1) After going to options menu, and returning to game play mode, the menu "blur" does not go away. This is not the post-processing fog, but an actual myopic blur... like forgetting to put your contacts in. Sometimes, toggling the "esc" key removes the blur, sometimes, not.

2) Clicking on "advanced" in video mode *sometimes* does NOTHING, and cannot bring up the advanced video settings. If I am in advanced video mode, then clicking "basic" or "hide" do nothing either.

3) Moving objects behind hills have the little glowing motion dot superimposed on the hill (but shouldn't be seen at all)...but these were just sheep and cows behind a low hill.

4) When upscaling to a higher res in the video menu, when in advanced mode, after the higher res kicks in, you can't see the bottom of the advanced menu items any longer, and you can't change the menu size, because it's off screen.

Will keep everyone apprised if fixed in any way.

HW: Core Duo 3200+, nVidia 8800GTS 320mb, 2GBx2 RAM, 1.5TB defragged HD, Winxp SP3, latest DX, nVidia 190.38

Aside from the occasional crash since 1.03, the most significant change to my gameplay is the loss of fps when looking at certain areas of trees, or grass. I've seen drops from 35 fps to 9 when looking at thick foliage. This didn't happen in 1.02.

Last time I was playing I had these pop up around the trees.

A smart moderator Someone moved my created thread showing some of BIS original building models and didn't post the existing images showing exact bugs (ShadowLOD Bugs (some original models)).

Now my post is meaning less.

I have the same problem with the mountains.

Not only that but also the draw distance seems to be bugged. Its drawing the objects too late.

Version 1.03

1. First Aid animation (module first aid) seems to work sometimes but mostly not. It heals, but often no animation.

2. Shadows on "NORMAL" when carrying someone shows only weapon and feets of the carryed soldier.

3. Handgrenades bounces like rubber balls - way too much bounce. (Tested on UTES runway).

All soldiers on the USMC side are colored "Afroamerican" and Caucasians. But in the whole US forces over 40% (or over 50% ?) are Hispanics. So is ARMA2 "political incorrect" and i hope, BIS can change it. And don´t forget the 4% of Asian guys!

Dont know if someone posted this already. I think the Smokegrenades are messed up in someway because if you throw them they will fly and smoke for like 1 or 2 seconds, after that they disappear.

All mortar systems:

If you force the tube vertical it will eventually go past 90 degrees and occasionally cause a CTD.

Smoke Grenades

Like stated by Red above me:

-Vehicle smoke grenades smoke only for a few seconds (not only LAV25).

Also:

-Thrown smoke grenades smoke for 2 seconds and stops (all colours except white).

-White thrown smoke grenades just "puff's" 2-3 small clouds and stops.

Thank BIS for patch.

This time only about bad:

1:UH-1Y always win vs MI-24... :D in realy MI-24 is ARMORED and more time win against AH-1!!! plz, fix it...

2:Statics, D-30 and M119 not have hindsight...

3:Animals not swiming:m: I know, this is no bug, but...:D

4:And plz, REMOVE RADARS from more vehicles! Only Shilca, Tunguska (not Avenger) and some planes have radars...

Hmm patch is out. And for me, the worst bugs have not been fixed.

-Physics are are totaly buggy. Humwees fly over 200 meters when they were hit by missles and also tanks are rolling over

- you cant use the commanders seat in M1A1/2. When the main turret rotates, the commanders turret also rotate

- viewdistance is a joke. When i set it to 2,5 km i want to see also objects and vehicle in 2,5 km. Yet, they will fade out at 1km. Am i playing arma or an arcade shooter?

Problems with grafics or sounds are for me not so important like the mentioned bugs.

Im realy realy mad :(
