  1. I have testet all the day with the weapons demo scenes. The problem is that the game sometimes runs 2h without any crashes and in the next minute..... bam :( I dont think the resolution is to high. I have got less frames but that is not a reason why the game should crash :) Maybe it is realy the overclocked graphic card. I have testet with normal clock and the weapon scenes runs now 2 hours without a crash. But it could also be luck :( Btw i have 8800 512 and play with normal settings.
  2. Same problem here. Last year i could play arma2 with 1.04 without any problems. Now i have reinstalled windows, with new drivers and so on. I have the same problems as spork. As well i have overclocked my system. It is a opteron 180 @ 2,9 Ghz, 2Gb Ram and 8800 GTS @ 740/1050. After 30 -60 min the game freezes or the whole graphics are gone and see onlye green or red stribes. Then i can only reset my system. Ok i know its overclocked, but i didnt change anything in my hardware config. The temps of CPU are all ok and i believe it is not the problem. One note: i am now playing in 1920x1080! Last year i have played in 1280... I will now log my graka temps and will reduce the clocks in steps. But i think it will still crash. Another solution is to turn back in 1280x1024. Maybe the graphic card cant handle the higher resolution? Edit: That is ineressting: I just logged my temps and continued my EW Campaign where you were trapped in a house. Now the game crashes after 5 minutes. The temps of my graphic card ware max 67°C.

    MH-53E addon released

    Very nice addon. But isnt it a bit too fast? In arma2 the MH53 is flying over 350!! I think max speed of ~280 is more realistic?
  5. OK, but the max drawing distance can only be achieved if i set the view distance to 10.000 right? So it is not possible that the vehicle drawing distance is the same like the normal view distance? (View distance 2500, vehicle distance 2500)
  6. First off all thank you for this nice tweak. I have testet a bit around and put the static and vehicle pbo in the mod folder. Here are the results: Without the fix With the fix The view Distance is set to 2799. With the fix it is the minimum distance to view the Tank. You also see houses in the background with the Fix. So, if i put the tank more away i would not see it. Is it possible to edit the fix in that way, that you see the vehicles in a distance of 2,5km?

    RH heli sounds 1.01

    Great to hear that youre working on sounds for mod vehicles. We are using the ch47 in our Evolution Version :) The AH64 also sounds realy good. Its the one from PMC? But the Model especially the textures are not realy (int. and ext) good. Hope there will be a new one in the future.

    Little Birds in ArmA2

    Great Mod and thx for the work!! Unfortunately i have a little problem here. I have added the little bird in our "modded" Evolution Map. Its all running great when i host the map with my machine. But when i try to run the map on a dedicated server it wont start. The problem is that my friend can acces the server only via ftp. So it is not possible to look at the command server window. But the Problem is definitely the little bird because when i remove it from the mission, the map is loading. (There are also other mods working like Chinook or F16) Can someone confirm this? Edit: It seems, that arma2 can not load more than 3 mods if you put the addons in the standard mod folder :(
  9. Hmm patch is out. And for me, the worst bugs have not been fixed. -Physics are are totaly buggy. Humwees fly over 200 meters when they were hit by missles and also tanks are rolling over - you cant use the commanders seat in M1A1/2. When the main turret rotates, the commanders turret also rotate - viewdistance is a joke. When i set it to 2,5 km i want to see also objects and vehicle in 2,5 km. Yet, they will fade out at 1km. Am i playing arma or an arcade shooter? Problems with grafics or sounds are for me not so important like the mentioned bugs. Im realy realy mad :(
  10. One Question. (i already asked ) How can i adjust the volume for the sounds? Or wich is the right number in the cfg to change. For examble the ext engine sound for the M1A1/2. We often play with Teamspeak and especially the M1 is a bit to loud outside. OThers are ok :) Thx
  11. The Problem with the T72 Engine off sound is the missing ".ogg"-ending in the config :)
  12. Realy great work. Best Tank Sound Mod i have ever heard. Hope you will continue working on the wheeled vehicles. One note: I think the Extern Turbine Engine Sound for the M1A1(2) is a bit too loud ?! Also if i compare it to the t72 or t90. (which is the right numer for changing the volume in the *.cpp?)

    Evolution (Red+Blue)

    Hey. I have edited the Evolution Version 3.0 with many many new Vehicles, cargo lifting system and flares for planes. ( More than 20 Vehicles) All with respawn and also the enemy got new. (I used the 3.0 Version because i often play with my friends and in that Version there are less anti air units and in general the enemy is not so hard but it is no problem to edit the new Version) SOme Units can be used from the beginning altough i edited the point limit for them. (for examble the Bw Mod) Dont know how to fix it. I also dont know if i can make this map available for download. Here are some of the units i implemented in my current version BW MOd, T90, M60, Villas Units, F35, F15, F117, Osprey, Chinook, KA52, Aluette III, Apache, Hind, Â and so on....

    Hey man. Good work. Love the models. Since your first version i noticed that there are two bugs which have not been fixed yet. - The soundfile of the Leo2 tracks is stereo. So you can hear the LEo2 from everywhere. It must be in Mono!!! - When you are a gunner in the Leo2 and switch to heat munition it will change automaticly after reloading to sabot munition. For the 0.4 - It is not possible to put technical equipment in the UH 1

    F-15 Eagle/Strike Eagle

    Hey. I love this f15. Especially the Clusterbombs. I have made an Evolution Map with a lot of Addons and also the F15 is part of it. I have a Ppoblem with the afterburners. (the Eurofighter from the BW MOd has the same problem). I have placed the F15 with respawn Skript in the Evolution map with following classname: f15e_cbu_mesh When i switch on the afterburner i get an ulta speed boost and the Fueltank is empty. The F16 by Footmunch does not have this Problem.
