Bought MOW:AS in Steam Xmas sales and played olny 2 matches online so far. Problems with my internet provider and Gamespy and when I manage to pass throught that comes the high ping + kick.

And I like the series so much... :(

yOU're right. Penal battalions.

This is how I see it... Huge battles with many non armed lemmings to control, weapon scavenging and so on. In Men Of War campaign there was sample of such scenario during the mission when you played as a soviet officer degraded and put to penal squad, there was a huge battle in the village and you had many men with no ammo. They we're dying but the Ai constantly supplied you with freshies.

Right now I'm into Men f War: Vietnam. Great atmosphere, uber hard with ridiculous objectives in 'east' campaign.

This one is like Red Tide in that it's Russian history themed and has no Co-op. (Boo).
