Hi, it looks very good, the only thing that i found a bit bad, are all

those garages or whatever; i think that some QG objects will enrich

and fit better and much more than those ones, but it looks very good.

LOL - brings a whole new aspect to Flipping The Bird  wink_o.gif

All that's needed now is lay lines, large sky view symbolism via clutter placement, a few all seeing eye's dotted around, CCTV in every tree, and few more "Phallic's" here and there smile_o.gif

This should be called the "F*ck You Island"  rofl.gif

You should change the some of ground textures to sand, the darker colored ground gives the map a dark feeling.

I'm looking forward to this one. I used to love the swampy part of the AEF island (forgot its name, however I do know that k@voven worked on it) for Spetz fighting, so I'll definitely appreciate this.

YEAH! I like what you said about "I wanted X and i made it myself" Woot!

This is a nice map for  Colonel Wells Insects... only a few amphibious ones are missing now... And PLEASE dont play this map with "regular" weaponry. Its a sacrileg... We need Psyweapons now!

I remember there was something like that, at least in Flashpoint. It was a gun to lift and throw things around, unfortunately i cannot remeber what the addon was called.

here is an alpha release...

a few things...

auto landing works.. but i have to finish the airport ai stuff.

no ladders or addactions work... how in the hell do i run a script from the map?!.. it seems as if everything becomes a nul object once i place it in visitor.

only 1/3 of the map is finished

(if mission making.. don't get too comfortable.. yet... tounge2.gif ..alpha..remember..)

umm... no addons needed....

Well, I will ask about something a bit heretical ... do you intend to release a "nude" island, I mean an island without all these exotic items, so everybody can build his "funland" with an editor ?

Hi Loki,

Congratulations on your work, Extremely well done. Are you learning did you say ? 3-6 days ? that's great. I am still new to arma editing and have not learnt a heck of a lot. but with a week or so spare time coming up i am hoping to brush up on island building. i 'hope' that a sound lightwave3d knowledge will help me in my quest.

I love how you say you build it cause you needed it, its a bonus that you and others are putting together these great maps.

Some of the best early morning hours these past few months have been in the mission editor, and pouring through these forums, now it is a no brainer, i must evolve to island mapping.

the map plays really well on my box, some areas are a bit heavy foliage but hey i am trying everything on max.

This map is nice to look at, and reminds me of danger island, uh oh jungo!. or the short guy exclaiming der plane! der plane! as a flight of f4's napalm the visitors dock of Fantasy Island.

The pillar near the runwy is a challenge wink_o.gif but it makes finding your landing VFR style pretty easy. well, tis friday night, all computers have been built, time to go home and fly around this island for a while. Thanks Loki.youve inspired me to pull my finger out and dust off those 3d apps.

yup 7 days now... the real pain is setting visitor up.. once that is done.. its like sim city meets the arma editor.

plus all the hours in the RTE helped me to move the camera and objects quickly.

i'm happy to help any who try.... the team speak is always open.

Most still applies, even it was written in OFP Days, .. at least for beginners.
