first you were flaming my addons now i have possibility to say something

as you told that Beryl has fire selector on right side of receiver, as you asked for Polish T80 tank in P85 mod, as you asked Bionic about Polish reskin of Leopard 2A5, as you showed German flak vest saying it is Polish, now i see something on the same level of realism as Polish T80 and Leopard 2A5 tanks and Beryl with AKMS fire selector ;]

you were laughing that my Police has PM98 and G36 Eotech some time ago

those facts proved me that you have no military knowledge and now you are releasing GROM ?

some time ago you were banned from Polish forums, later you started flaming here on my addons realism, so now i have few words of comment about this "GROM" addon

1) why you called it "Grom"

look how looks Polish uniform,

as you were assuming my every post with flamming, now i will say not flamming, but some true words :]

this what i see on screens is not Polish uniform, size of pattern seems too big, looks more like US-woodland in Polish desert colours scheme

3) G36 in Polish army ?

as i know it is used by Goverment Secutity Bureau and by Police, because G36 rifles were bought by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, not by Ministry of Defence (Grom is part of Army, not Police)

G36 were bought for tests but Army gave it to Police and GROM choose M4 with different scopes due to STANAG standart issues in foreign operations mostly with US troops

if you wanna go with Beryls with fire selector on the right side of receiver instead left, if you wanna go with Polish T80 and Leopard 2A5, you have free will, but don't accuse/flame my addons about non-realism and don't flame my addons anymore

I think its based on game "Terrorist Takedown 2" not actual real GROM soldiers.

Game was shitty IMHO and so is yours addon. Sorry for being rude, I'm pretty sure you will get more experience and finally quality will be better.

GROM is not using G36, Grom is using M4 , read more than Wikipedia

every special unit in the world buys as much different rifles as they can to teach soldiers use EVERY weapon they can meet during action, as we had action in NATO, than we get some NATO rifles to teach soldiers use them, like my friend from commado was taught to use M16A2 when he was paratrooper

it is normal way of training in every special unit of every country, like US special forces has AK47, SKS in arsenal, because there might be action in which they will loose their weapon and have to use enemy retaken

Russian army special units probably have teaching/training examples of M4, M16, G36 too

but would you do addon of US special forces with AK

you are not main maker of this addon, so i can tell more, but Maza proved in many posts his "knowledge" about his country army and Police :]

About the Addon, well quality isnt that great but Vilas knows how this is, with enough training any many tries one day they may look excellent.

However currently they are nothing for me.

Ok but still... does it make sense to recreate units from a rahter cheap game that didnt really focus on realism at all?

Especially because you tend to criticise people if their addons arent 100% correct ( or what you think is 100% correct ).

yes, especially if persons who know my topic know what i meant here

after many of my posts in my topic Maza was spaming my topic with untruth/unreal posts, like for example i made not correct weapons, i used wrong vest, i used wrong model of something and etc.

if he wasn't saying opinions like "Beryl should have fire selector like AK, you made wrong" or showing airsofters German vest and saying my soldiers models are wrong, cause i used wrong type of vest, or i made wrong Police, cause i equipped them with something ... or he shows picture of prototype not introduced into production and says i should equip soldiers in other way because "on movie" that he saw it was other way

...

but he did it many many times

if he was not saying about not realism in my addons before... but he did

i thought i should react :]

i hope he will give it up to spam my topic anymore with words like "will you do Polish T80 in mod?"

if he wants answer, let he think some more and do some researches before saying i made something wrong

he can do whatever he wants in his addon, but not with saying that my weapon is wrong, my vest is wrong, my helmet is wrong and ater this... photos on links show how looks real Polish army :]

he started with editing my addon some months ago, i told him not to use my/YACIEK textures and he started to flame on my topic after this, now i hope he will stop

if you cryticize someone for not realism realism - than make something more real

Well, I didn't want to question your knowledge about the polish forces nor the quality of your work (I like your stuff). If this would have been my addon I certainly would have chosen another weapon for these units. But after seeing the pics from TT2 and checking on wiki, I thought the G36K fits for this addon... Maza asked politely for some help and as a good member of the Arma community I gave him a bit of support, as you know getting started with an addon isn't an easy task. In my opinion for a first addon this is not bad, it has no bigger errors or bugs or anything at least it's NOT "shitty", "complete dog poop" or an addon from a "re**ard".  

Some people from Poland still might like it   . Maza seems to be a very controversial person, as many people have issues with him, but you vilas seem to be grown up enough to stand above these things…

Although good work, it has little in common with GROM. Textures details and details of equipment would improve significantly the quality of addon.

As I already said, this is not my mod, it's Mazas. All I did was make some quick textures based on some reference pics I got from Maza. This is the best that could have been done from that, but I agree with you, that more detailed textures would be an improvement for his addon. If the person who takes care of this issue will be me - the future will show

I'm not trying to start any problems here, I just have to say though that I'm shocked at how vehement the community gets over something as simple as a slightly non-realistic texture.  I get that there was already some bad blood here, but damn.  I haven't seen anything like this since I played WoW.... Just my two cents, so feel free to ignore me. I just had to get it off my chest.
