canis lupus 20 Posted August 19, 2008 I have been working a little on some ww2 infantry 2nd rangers and 101st airborne, they don't look too good but its a little something untill the I44 mod is released. they might be a part of something bigger at some point but I'm not sure of that yet. Clavicula_nox4817 0 Posted August 19, 2008 A small detail, but it looks as if your paratroopers have the wrong unit insignia. The only one I can see is the prone Thompson guy, and he has the 82nd insignia on his shoulder, with a 101st regimental emblem on his helmet. Rangers are also missing their shoulder insignia, a sideways blue diamond with "Rangers" inscribed in the middle. The Rangers shouldn't all have the white stripe on the back of their helmet. The stripes were used to indicate who was an officer and who was an NCO. A white verticle stripe, like what you have, would be on an officer's helmet, and a white horizontal line would be used for any NCO rank. They look fine to me besides that.
