Your respirator looks horribly ramshackle. I'd suggest to

avoid further ridicule you Google yourself some images of the

M17A1 or M40 field protective masks - the ones with the

attached hoods - and base your imagination on those. Masks

for infantrymen (I presume your model is meant to be a

soldier) never use multiple filters for reasons of logistics

(replacing one filter in the field under NBC conditions is easier

and safer than replacing three) and for reasons of

convenience (multiple filters are heavy and awkward and

achieving a proper weapon sight picture is almost impossible

with a filter in the way - it's hard enough as it is even with

one filter).

Not necessarily...there are different postures (stages) of NBC protective equipment. The whole model doesn't have to be in full NBC protective gear. It all depends on the type of NBC attack.

have i or he said hes doing a full NBC suit?

since i dont know what respirator he wants to create, i suggested him to get reference pics of NBC equipment...

NBC equipment doesnt only consist of NBC suits...

theres tons of different respiratrion systems (as here NBC equipment), such as M12, S10, FM12, CBR PAPR bla bla bla....

i wanted to point out that the model looks......Faulkner named it...

the whole textures are screwed not just the hands and the respirator makes no sense at all.

I think it has 4, not 3 filters... biggrin_o.gif

wow ..... umnnn...... yeah....

Its a good idea but i think your model needs alot more work...

The goggles should not be separate from the mask. and the rubber face piece should wrap around he face almost to the ears. get a hold of GranQ he was working on some NBC guys. I am sure he would be happy to share the model with you.

Why flame the guy? If your going to critque then at least be thoughtful in the words that you choose.

Anyways looking good but I'd take up the suggestions unless its just for fun in which case looks great :P
