Goldline 0 Posted March 26, 2008 Saw some players ingame wearing sunglasses... Was just wondering how you could add those sunglasses to your own character ? Thanks.

mattxr 9 Posted March 26, 2008 Some people "paint" custom sunglasses on there custom faces. And if you can make them look 3Dish all the better.
mrj-fin 0 Posted March 26, 2008 This one of the those tens features that stripped off from OFP. In ofp you could decide in Player options whether you'll wear have sun glasses , normal glasses or not at all. And there was nice addons what did let you have much of selection of variations of colors etc.
7 0 Posted March 27, 2008 i edited the <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">class Identity { face="Custom"; glasses="Sunglasses"; speaker="robert"; pitch=0.980000; squad=""; }; part of my profile but no glasses appear? paragraphic l 2 Posted March 27, 2008 Not that strange, the Biki clearly shows it to be an OFP feature. It is indeed not in ArmA profile selection. Some units get them, some don't.
evilnate 0 Posted March 27, 2008 The way I see it is that it's up to the mission designer to add glasses to the player in the description file. I've seen this done in a james bond coop mission for arma. I'm not sure if it will work if a user already has a custom face. I have a feeling the custom client face will over-ride the one set in the mission.

jakerod 254 Posted March 27, 2008 Im thinking they probably didn't add it to ArmA because then they would've had to make it so that it blocks out the glare and that might have been too much work.
dachevs 1 Posted March 27, 2008 Easiest way is using the custom face template. Download one here Face 1 or Face 2 and mess around with it, right click the pic and save as. They aren't the best but I can't find the actual one. Use it in a picture editing program like Paint or Photoshop, Photoshop has many many more features but you can use anything really. When you finish editing the face save it as Face.jpg (select JPEG in file type) and place it in you ArmA Other Profiles folder, then in game click on your profile name and click Edit, then select Custom Face.
