The us has never lost a war

Recommended Posts

which countries in the west can Americans wine on? Which countries effect the American culture in a negative way and create problems that highly effect Americans?

good point.. but why does that make so many people think americans are all idiots? seeing as how we do well enough that no other western nation can effect us (as you say) why do people think or goverment is so stupid? we cant be very dumb and ignorant to be where we are can we? its not like the US is some brainless jauggernaught(sp big time) that has steamrolled the rest of the world under its iron fist.. we are where we are at thorough our trade and maintaining what works for us and fixing what doesent.. we dont need money from other countried becuase we make enough by producing things.. our economy is very strong, our military is excellent, and weve been in really good shape for a long time with almost no major internal problems.. for a people so daft and ignorant we sure manage to do well for ourselves.

"good point.. but why does that make so many people think americans are all idiots?"

Because they dont know any Americans themselves and only meet the abusive kids on game forums who themselves have no idea what they talk about all though they actually are Americans?

"seeing as how we do well enough that no other western nation can effect us (as you say) why do people think or goverment is so stupid?"

Well, I don't think those are related to be honest. You don't get as effected simply because you are the biggest guy on the block, you got national pride, you are the ones setting the trends and leading the march.

"we cant be very dumb and ignorant to be where we are can we?"

Well, you could. There are plenty of ignorant people who have struck gold.

"its not like the US is some brainless jauggernaught(sp big time) that has steamrolled the rest of the world under its iron fist.. we are where we are at thorough our trade and maintaining what works for us and fixing what doesent.. we dont need money from other countried becuase we make enough by producing things.."

Well, most western contries don't need money from other countries actually.

"our economy is very strong, our military is excellent, and weve been in really good shape for a long time with almost no major internal problems.. for a people so daft and ignorant we sure manage to do well for ourselves."

True : P

Of course Americans will stick by Bush right now, this is their hour of need and people (almost) ALWAYS stick by their leaders during war in which the people themselves feel threatened

(look at the Serbians , only AFTER the war did they have a revolution- during the war Milosevic was a hero)

The US needs a Churchill-like figure right now but i hate to break it to you... a man who says

"I understand small business growth.I was one."

AINT HIM.

First off i must say ,the world at large DOES NOT HATE AMERICA or certainly nor Americans, i have come to the conclusion that Americans love to believe they are hated, it seems an integral part of the american psyche that binds the nation together.

You NEED an enemy.

sept.11 is only going to make that myth worse(a few crazy arabs proves nothing, even in Saudi Arabia-bin ladens home there are mixed feelings about the US-certainly not outright hatred)

but for the most part people couldnt give a damn as long as the US doesnt step on their toes or US companies put them out of buisness

etc

however there are the folowing exceptions

Ya wanna know what DOES piss people off about the US ?

really?(if not then skip it)

WELL HERE YOU GO

1*-Intransigence on climate change has-(almost 25% of climate affecting pollution world wide)

this pisses a LOT of europeans off especially as we see the summers gettings hotter and hotter and the winters more and more prone to flooding etc (causing massive damage in some areas+deaths)

and DONT tell me oh you cant prove that its human related plenty of scientists in the US have conducted studies (funded by the local oil company no doubt smile.gif ) disproving what those naughty liberal anti american commie euro scientists say.

The OVERWHELMING majority of scientists in this field today (including the american ones) confirm that human beings are having a noticeable impact on climate change.

Serious minded objective scientists(not some kind of treehuggers) all over the world are in agreement.

(im not simply making this up, there have been multiple global conferences)

This isnt about naughty foreigners plotting to destoy US jobs just for fun, global agreements like Kyoto-

are about no less than THE FUTURE DIRECTION THE HUMAN RACE WILL TAKE, and the world we are handing to our children (as cliched as it sounds)

In the western worlds views on this matter America stands out like a sore thumb

and to see Bush still trotting out his tired arguments to defend the gas guzzling, small minded short term direction he has chosen starts to grate

what YOUR country does WILL have an effect on my country

therefore it IS my buisness( or the buisness of my country)

just like the US decided that the weapons program of Iraq was its buisness, so the direction the US takes on climate change IS MY BUISNESS and the buisness of us all, so is the direction all other major polluters take. Therefore i have every right to complain about Bush sounding like a stuck record

i will not sacrifice my oil company buddies jobs just for the sake of potential global climate disaster

i will not sacrifice my oil company buddies jobs just for the sake of potential global climate disaster

...(if said a little less articulately hehehh)

2*-The US Unilaterally ripping up ICBM Ballistic missile treaty, not consulting Russia properly-the cold war is supposed to have ended-

bush says it better-

G.W.B.

"Russia is no longer our enemy, and therefore we shouldn't be locked into a Cold War mentality that says we keep the peace by blowing each other up. In my attitude, that's old, that's tired, that's stale."

and

"But I also made it clear to [Vladimir Putin] that it's important to think beyond the old days of when we had the concept that if we blew each other up, the world would be safe."

(oh come on whats the worst could happen?,theyre only nukes!wink.gif , or even Americas European 'allies'

it was done in a very ham fisted way, as though the American government was trying to piss off as many people as possible

(yes dont tell me , WE'RE AMERICAN ,WE DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK PINKO LIBERAL FAG COMMIE EUROTRASH BITCH, IF IT WASNT FOR US YOUDE BE SPEAKING GERMAN RIGHT ABOUT NOW)

3*-WE KNOW YOU TOO WELL:

The world knows more about America than any other country, more than we ever ever wanted to know and you know what they say, familiarity breeds contempt.

If US networks carried a dutch TV show every other hour(some of which contained 'amusing' sterotypes of American people) and 80-90% of films in the cinema were Dutch, if computer games showed the Dutch army truimphing over the rest of the world

If over half the music in the local record shop was Dutch ,if every major town had at least one 'Macijnheere' selling tasteless 'jnheereburgers' which ran local american shops out of buisness, if Holland had a massive military which seemed to do as it please and had no rivals or counter balances,

If rich Dutch people came to your country and tried (and sometimes succeded) in buying items of your national heritage from bankrupt owners to add to their disgustingly tasteless 'mock american' mansions,

then..

...well i just think some Americans would get a little peeved (actually that would be to paraphrase G.W.B. an 'underestimatement'wink.gif

no hard feelings

i could come up with some more but i really dont hate america as whole ,it would be crazy

anyway bush is too funny

(Bush)...He said he wanted his administration to be remembered for making America "a more literate country and a hopefuller (sic) country." -Reuters

"Redefining the role of the United States from enablers to keep the peace to enablers to keep the peace from peacekeepers is going to be an assignment."

--On Gore's tax plan, Greensboro, N.C., Oct. 10, 2000

"It's important for us to explain to our nation that life is important. It's not only life of babies, but it's life of children living in, you know, the dark dungeons of the Internet."

"This is still a dangerous world. It's a world of madmen and uncertainty and potential mental losses."

There's a lot of people in the Middle East who are desirous to get into the Mitchell process, but first things first. ..."We're concerned about AIDS inside our White House—make no mistake about it."—Washington, D.C.

"There has to be a wholesale effort against racial profiling, which is illiterate children."

Soo this is how bush is helping his oil companies ?

Blah,i don't even care about bush, but i'm sick of the damn bashing,i gotta point out where your wrong, maybe not all the time, but sometimes you are.

*-Intransigence on climate change has-(almost 25% of climate affecting pollution world wide)

The world is warming up,We know.No one knows if it's us or just the world changing. But We do know pollution does hurt the ozone layer. No one knows about this one.Plus the kyoto treaty wasn't going to work,or so i heeard that counties couldn't keep up with it.Also if america signs, where would the companies go ? Mexico, canada, china,I don't know if you know but nothing is really made in the USA anymore.

*-The US Unilaterally ripping up ICBM Ballistic missile treaty, not consulting Russia properly-the cold war is supposed to have ended-

Russia and US aren't in the cold war anymore. What about north korea ? They sell their missiles to anyone with money.Iran going to have nukes in like 2005.Probably alot more will too,the more we go in to the future the more this stuff slips into the wrongs hands.

The world knows more about America than any other country, more than we ever ever wanted to know and you know what they say, familiarity breeds contempt.

Well come up with better crap smile.gif,The brits have rock bands, german has cars, japanese have cars.Plus if it wasn't working over there they wouldn't put it on.

The US has a right to build what defences it deems just (as long as they dont amount to an offence)

but the WAY the missile defence program has been gone about is a big screw up for foreign relations

"come up with better crap ,The brits have rock bands, german has cars, japanese have cars

a few cars or rock bands do not give people the feelings of 'knowing' a country ,but experiencing  a large amount of the same TV/Music/Films the people of the country itself experiences DOES

The effect the massive US media juggernaut has on peoples perception of that country cannot be underestimated.

"Blah,i don't even care about bush, but i'm sick of the damn bashing,i gotta point out where your wrong, maybe not all the time, but sometimes you are."

Hybrid cars? all countries are looking into them, i dont quite see what that proves ,yes he has A solution a very GENTLE slow solution that in effect will change almost nothing, thus making him popular with the public.

Bush IS in the pocket of big buisness

http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi....777.stm

i especially like this bit "Condoleezza Rice, the national security adviser, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her."

need more links?

but yes....alright ill stop the Bush bashing, even i do find him very funny biggrin.gif
