Really bad peformance

I have a 7600GT graphics card 1 GB ram, dual core prossesor and vista.. When i play online the peformance drops.. On mission editor i can play with 30-40 in citys but in multiplayer it goes to 15-17 and lags alot and i lose connection alot and i cant zoom in without laging..

I also have anouther promblem..When you start up arma a box shows up with check marks but the last two check marks dont pop up.

Whats your connection? It doesnt matter how good computer you have if your connection is bad.

I had similar problems as you do, with 7600 GS top silent 512, 1gig of RAM and 3500+athlon64X. I lowered AA to normal and AF to low with all other options high. Its a bit rough looking but at least got more fps.

Also Kegetys lowplants addon give another 10fps more.

Get more RAM, that's what i intend to do

He suffers from bad online performance, more ram will not help if the connection is bad.

I am running much worse now in 1.09 than i do in 1.08 .The grass is heavier and the forrests are far worse than before.Try putting yourslf up north in a forrest without grass even and youll see what i mean.Thzooming in whilst prone with grass on has a massive effect on FPS and gun firerate slowdown,the first place that a big FPS loss has occured.

To give yous an example  when ingame point your gun in the air and fire then do the same thing again with the gun pointed at the ground .You'll see a huge difference in firerate.

i run a 8600gt,intell core2 E6750 ,2gb ddr2-800 ram.I used to run a 6600GT in ARMA that worked good.

Im experiencing the exact opposite.

In 1.08 whenever I zoomed it would get real laggy and take a long time for the lods to appear correctly.

Now in 1.09 its smooth and the lods appear instantly or very shortly compaired to before.

I can run at higher view distance now, since I have a 8800, its like night and day compaired to 1.08 for me.
