It would be extremely cool to see snakemen and sectoids from UFO series armed with laser rifles/pistols

I can already see mission briefings in my head:

Alpha team: resieze and secure the small village under attack, escort any civilians to the truck and relocate them to camp.

Bravo team: intercept landed UFO in the forrest and bring it back to base for research. Neutralize any threat near it and use stealth approach not to spook the "visitors".

You mix something up. He had showed pictures of converted space invaders mod while waiting for permission. He did not got permission for them, so he did not release them. The ufos he got permission then released them. Nothing wrong here.

Better double check the facts before blaming someone to steal.

I might have said that, but definitely not in response to Hitcher "screaming" not to release his addon (which I didn't release it btw).

Anyway, model is done (created by maccollo), just need to the textures and a few other stuff. Might take some time though...

To be honest, this mod already is interesting. Originality is one thing, but sometimes people just like to have old stuff made better

I mean, no one would complain if a complete port of LIBMOD was released tomorrow, would they?

Also, I don't see the need to accuse Ryan of scamming, there is no scam here and there's no need to be unreasonable, Ryan has acted in a completely reasonable manner and has respected your wishes for him not to re-release your addons for ArmA.

I do respect your work, I never released it did I? But is this addon not original? At least someone could be bothered to make old addons (models only) useful again. I made the UFO weapons, missions, and config myself by the way.

Ryan_D, As I said before, you have done great work. I don't care if you are just converting. It is a great service. Your stuff (converting) has resulted in the most fun my son and I have had with ArmA in quite a while. Also, I would not let Benoist bother you. The only posts I have seen from him, here and elsewhere, is attempts to cause trouble. Anyway, it is great you are trying to use some of the old OFP stuff. I miss a lot of the great addons that were done for OFP. Keep up the great work. I look forward to your next release.
