Might I suggest to not ask Issetea and Fewo directly to make an addon version as CAF Clan has already done this. I believe they are trying to keep Sahrani Life addonless as to it limits to whom may join. wink_o.gif

I cant support this one enough, addons can contribute greatly to gameplay. In CC the coolest cars costs the most, something that encourages people to earn money to be able to afford it.

suggestion 1 :

- make civilians spawn randomly in cities or at their hideout (or at least not all in the same place)

- sometimes it is very difficult to get out of the spawn building in Bagango when some players run you over with their car for fun, a second time after you wait several minutes to spawn you have another one that shoots you down, and so on

- this is because they all know they can kill lot of civilians in a single place

suggestion 2 :

- instead of letting cops choose for how long they arrest players put in their menu a select list in which they choose the reason they're arresting

- the mayor should set jail times for each reason

suggestion 3 :

- allow civilians harassed by cops to vote the worst of them that they want to punish

- with a minimum of civilians that are needed to vote to put a cop in jail and a maximum of cops civilians can put in jail at a time (limits adjustable by mayor)

suggestion 4 :

- AI taxis

- once you are in a taxi you choose a destination and you pay before

- if you change your mind you can choose another destination and you have to pay again

- or another way is to choose a destination city in a predefined list of cities available

suggestion 5 :

- allow bounty hunters to arrest wanted civilians

Other suggestions i ignore in this post won't be added in 1.23 or 1.24, but maybe they will be included in later versions.

-Bugs

.Even if the 1.22 changelog tells that the "trunk bug" has been fixed, it still persists. For example, buy a police car or another vehicle, use the gear menu and put your weapons in it. They wont appear in the trunk menu.

=> A good thing would be to fix this bug. If it creates too many problems to do so, just delete the trunk option. It would be like in previous versions (easier and faster to check a vehicle). The essential point is to avoid that kind of bugs : it forces people to use the gear menu + the trunk one (it complicates everything and shows issues of this great mp scenario).

- Suggestions

.It would be nice to add an option in the wanted menu in order to allow cops to write or tag the reason of their warrants. In that way, other cops won't need to ask "why this guy is wanted?" It would also reduce the number of infos appearing at the same time in the chat area.

.Details are the key of all masterpiece. So, try to correct the small english mistakes showing in the middle of the screen when the mission starts. It's A role playing game (RPG) not AN.

.Allowing people with good computer spec to raise their view distance to 10000 and their details would be nice, like in the great Evolution scenario.

The draw distance wont be increased most likely because it would then give some an advantage over others who can't have such a high view distance, not an issue for Evo as that's co-op.

Issetea, I don't think the game is saving licences when people reconnect, it comes up with a script bug about it too. Ignore that, just tested it myself and it worked, but I still have an odd error to upload for you.

Are you sure ? As i wrote, it is the same in Evolution and it doesn't give you an advantage (seeing someone or shooting at more than 2km becomes hard or impossible, knowing that in its actual version, the scenario already allows to set the view to 5000, then...), it just increases the beauty of the game and realism, which is also important for players. Maybe it is possible to allow the server admin to choose parameters if some doubts persists.

Anyway, thanks for your opinion, I hope other things that i mentionned can be fixed, it's a pity.

I have draw distance set to 700 for instance, if someone has it set to 1500 and sniping then you can imagine...

1 suggestion :

- currently cops earn 2500 and players often start as cops to make money then switch to civilians

- save 2 amounts of money : as cop and as civilian

- when switching between the 2 the player will start with money he earned as a cop or as a civilian

The 1.22 changelog does not say that the trunk and gear thing is changed. Both actions will stay in the game since the trunk action is important for resources and items and the gear action is important for weapons, while you can not check the weapons which are placed in the vehicle with the gear action in a script. 10k viewdistance is already changed in 1.23

About the trunk option, being not a specialist, do you mean that it is impossible to have a unique option showing weapons and items (created in sahrani life such as donuts, fishes, etc) ?

Edit : new bug detected => if you use the Cop shop in the hangar and click on an item on the right column, such as a grenade, you'll have a script error.

- after reconnecting the "lock/unlock" and "trunk" actions don't appear near vehicles you have the keys for

- add static MGs as objects to place for cops

3. suggestion

- replace buying camera time to watch civilians ("civcam") with free static cameras that can be placed by cops or already available in cities in key points

4. suggestion

- improve satellite camera by adding an input field or select list where the cop can enter/select coordinates

- the sliders on the edges of the satellite panel are almost invisible : change their color to white for example

Suggestions:

#1 Locking a vehicle

Problem:

Locking your vehicle takes too long.

Solution:

Adding an action to the action menu containing the ability to lock or unlock your vehicle is something you don't want, not only will it take up too much space when you have multiple vehicles in your possession, but having (too) much actions in your action menu can easily become confusing and disturbing.

Perhaps there's a different solution, such as the presence of a button in the dialog to instantly lock or unlock the vehicle you are in range with, and possess a key to. Obviously the player will only have this option if he is in close proximity to the vehicle. If he/she is not, either the button can become 'greyed out' or simply display an error as currently is the case.

or make some AI enemy for bored cops

works great till now wink_o.gif no bugs found ... may the taximission will be payed how far u drive, beccause a ride for 500$ though the whole north island is not worth.

if it is possible u could only do a few weapons and handguns in the handgun or rifleshop, and the rest has to be build by factoys .

anything else is really great.

Quite nice version !

It would be great, except the grammar mistake tounge2.gif , to add some weapons for cops (I was thinking about the Stinger because we only have the Strela has anti air, which is a russian weapon where all the others are occidental ones ; the M249 SAW or the other MG because we already have the mg humvee, so why not these weapons).

Another problem occurs : sometimes, the check trunk and view trunk options do not appear when cops check a vehicle.

I found this map boring for those that dont wish to spend more then 5hours on server as civ. Even when i played the old game now and again for 3 to 5hours i never had all shops and workplaces. I had all but shop3 for 325k

And then you got the things like the factory stuff that i never used because its like 500k to buy so to buy and use all this stuff you looking at playing for 10hours. And now the bank intrest is at 1% so slows down income even more. So doing the same thing everyday just to be able to buy all this stuff sucks.

I fill the time to buy all this stuff needs to be cut down because all its doing is making you have to play longer and i wont wish to spend all day on a map.. I wanna be able to join for few hours say like 3hours and enjoy it. Main reason i rob the bank is to buy shops and work places so i dont have to spend most of day geting money to buy them :P

None of this slow pasted stuff stops dm. If he wants to stop dm then he should put gunshops far away to some place like west island airfield where the evo spawn it and limit the amount of guns you can buy at one time to stop people making wepon stash in vehicles then driving them back to spawn.

More things to do like illegal jobs for civs that pay more then normal jobs where you could deliver drug packages or pirate dvds and games which shows up in your inventory if police stop you to check ;D

And move the street racing flag closer to spawn so people actually use it. These things would give cops more to do aswell and its somethink civs can do when they first join server instead of cops waiting around being bored waiting for civs to make enough money the legal way before they turn to crime.

Main things id like to see added is illegal jobs which would offer the civ more money because theres a risk of geting caught and arested and alot of people wanna see more civ jobs added.

The other thing id like to see is that cops can only arest someone if they got there hands up or they stuned because it sucks geting arested from other side of wall and yeserday i stuned a cop and had him hostage and took his g36 but i couldnt pick up his handgun as already hand one so he picked it up while paying on the ground and arested me even tho it had no ammo. Which i wasnt happy about because u shouldnt be able to get arested if u got a gun to someone :P They would need to wait for armed backup.

Also when you stun someone and there wepons drop the ammo disapears. Is this a bug?

i played the first release of Sahrani Life and is fun the first time but the problem is than you need like 3 hours to have some money and then make someting interesting whit that money, the problem is when you have the money i am bored to continue playing or i need to do something in the real world, Sahrani Life is a great mission but need more motivation like super risky jobs and a great paid for complete that jobs, if you can conclude 1 job in like 10 mins you can take a lot of money to buy a factory or something, then the game need a respawn point in the hideout to make a city of hideouts and the guild system can work smile_o.gif the hideout will be destroyed whit a sarchel

and this is a new point some civi can buy a great army like 3 bmps 2 tanks and 30 soldiers to trie take paraiso, this can be fun and make the civis and cops join against the invaders,this is a option and can be fun why the unarmed civis will be inside the houses and the coops or armed civis will tried to protect them the civi whit more money and more factories can have the option to buy the army and take the paraiso and he will be the mayor if if army is in paraiso like 20 or 30 mins

well this 3 things i will change in the mission smile_o.gif

1: super well payed risky works

2: spawn points in the hideout

3: the more powerfull civi in the map can buy an army to take the city

the point 3 is an idea an can be modified in any aspect smile_o.gif

We want to add an aim for the guilds in the next version. Do you have an idea of what they should be able to do?

Guilds could do "PMC" - aka Private Military Contractor or Civilian Guard jobs. Leader could get a mission for a random place where he should complete the mission. For example: delivery of VIP (one member of the guild), assasination, demolish, patrol, guard spot for X minutes, etc...

If there would be 2 or more guilds missions from all guilds could cross paths and maybe assisination could be a member of a foreign guild.
