addon is not yet fully functional. whistle.gif

PROPER_UI_Compass_Size_Expanded addon only resizes the

compass object on the map and on the quick action / default

player view.

oh well, i thought i had finally found my favorite compass for ever and ever.. i guess i have to wait a little more..

by the way, i have some problems reading your .avi files. the image appears grey and nothing running, except time.

some of your Mods are really proper smile_o.gif

edit: <s>if i may, i think the PROPER_Gameplay_Weapon_Sway_Reworked.pbo need to be revised, its not natural, imo. It feels like the game is lagging or as if im playing a spectrum game.</s> i noticed its not that pbo wich is causing that feeling it might be other..

This PORPER mod is the most PROPER and correct mod for ArmA!!! yay.gif

It gives ArmA much more fun and fixes some annoying problems! This mod makes ArmA more like OFP! I get a great feeling when playing with this mod, gives the good old OFP rush back into my blood! yay.gif

This reminds me of the superiority of WGL, now being influenced into Armed Assault! WGL is in a way not dead after all...we have this great developer, Q! biggrin_o.gif

Keep up the superb work, Q! Make us happy and help the ArmA community become a better place! wink_o.gif

EDIT: I've discovered that BLUFOR, OPFOR and Independent have no vehicles! But the CIVILIAN side has them all! Tanks, trucks, choppers...everything...why does the CIV side have vehicles and not the other sides? Is this a bug, or is it a feature from one of the .pbo's?

Please tell me what I can do to solve this problem, and tell me which .pbo which does this if any.

I suggest to add gameplay: AI turns engine off after a while if not moving. (to save fuel. sometimes they use the whole fuel up just standing there and not moving.) Also it would be good to add in the command menu the possibility to tell AI to turn engine of.

I my biggest wish, since 5 years. Please make a mod that allows to keep the fire mode (single, burst, auto) after using another item (i.e. binocs) and then returning to the weapon.

I guess this is an engine limitation. Or does it work for any

weapon. Its the same for the scope zoom setting. Not saved

as well.

There might be a way to script this behavior in addition with

a modified class structure. Out of my scope I fear.

I hope that this is only temporarily and will be changed later, since I like that all signatures is white, but not that it makes mission editing vehicleless...

So, is it possible to make signatures white, and have vehicles in the editor? That would be great. I can maybe try to find it myself in the .pbo, but I need some help to know what to remove etc.

You can disable that addon while editing and enable it again when you play.

Put the PROPER_Gameplay_Vehicle_All_White_Radar_Signature_PvP.pbo

in a different modfolder.

Either load both or just the @PROPER modfolder (or the way you

named it).

The general question is whether you want / need the particular

functionally provided by the addon.

Every PBO is independent and can be used or not be used. Just

like you desire. smile_o.gif

Yes, Q. A good suggestion, just as anderson said, if editing, then I'll just remove it for the moment and put it in the game afterwards. smile_o.gif

Btw I have a suggestion: Swimming will not remove most or all your weapons. Maybe some can get lost while swimming, but at least not as fast, or as much as in original ArmA. I really hope you could make a .pbo where you loose drastically less and you lose it only after some time, not 10 secs after plumbing into the water.

I feel ArmA has either too much loss of weapons, or loss of weapons happens too fast. Some kind of balancing or seriously removal of this feature would be great. I'm not thinking this as a cheat, only that it makes swimming for safety or whataver case more useful. smile_o.gif

When we finally can be able to swim in a game, it got turned down by losing all the weapons, making us go away from that useful feature. wink_o.gif

No luck so far in finding config values to manipulate that.

I fear it is hardcoded..

One could change the swim speed at least ... sounds like a good

Ever swimmed with clothes and boots? wink_o.gif The drag/friktion is big.

The "swim-sprint" is a good idea though!

The thing I miss most regarding swimming is the ability to stand up in shallow water. But I think thats not fixable from config changes only..

Swim-sprint is possible.

Speed up the animation and therefore make you move faster.

It is possible to assign different animations like swimRun, swimWalk etc.

However I cannot find any way to activate the fatigue effect for

swimming units.

Again no idea how to disable the drop equipment effect to..

Once you are testing it stuff related to swimming, you become

aware again that the feature is very poorly implemented in general.

... about losing equipment while swimming, DieAngelo had posted a Sauvetage.sqs script on the ArmA-fr forums, but the topic in French.

and Sudden Death has released a S.Y.W. (save your weapons) script on the Armed Assault MDB - The Mission Database web site, well it was for 1.02 and the topic is in German.

If it is too much work to fix the swimming speed, and the equipment thing as well, then its alright, its just a suggestion and you must accept it yourself. wink_o.gif

I have another suggestion too, which I think is hardcoded as well, but its very, very annoying....the damn steering reset...please....get that annoying thing off...

I just hate it, almost impossible to handle a vehicle....makes handling slower and less precise....

Please don't tell me its hardcoded, I really wanna get that damn thing off my game crazy_o.gif

You can already Swim Faster slower or normal. At least in my ArmA. Difference isn't big but it is noticeable.
