cbfasi 4 Posted October 14, 2007 At the moment CBF Shipbuilding are going for larger 'objects', although there will be smaller watercraft configured as vehicles.
Daniel 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Great stuff! Got any modern Royal Navy stuff planned? Would love to see Astute, Daring and CVF in the water.
cbfasi 4 Posted October 14, 2007 CBF Shipbuilding will be continuing its RN involvment much as it did with construction of ships for the RN that happened to serve in 1982. The company is also continuing its involvement with the civilian market.

cbfasi 4 Posted October 14, 2007 I suspect the site team will give a report to the press in the next couple of days, or at least we can but hope, maybe they will let the community know more about what its in the dock.

cbfasi 4 Posted October 14, 2007 For anyone who is wondering.... CBF Shipbuilding are working alongside RKSL Studios...
nastros 0 Posted October 14, 2007 does that mean there is an aircraft carrier behind those dock gates
Grinman 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Perhaps the turrets/missiles being seperate vehicles using that script Gnat used to attach the blackhawks to his ship so you have an immobile ship with fully working turrets once we get that and some decent landing boats I'll make an invasion mission, like a modern D-day lol
Guest RKSL-Rock Posted October 14, 2007 Perhaps the turrets/missiles being seperate vehicles using that script Gnat used to attach the blackhawks to his shipso you have an immobile ship with fully working turrets once we get that and some decent landing boats I'll make an invasion mission, like a modern D-day lol UNN wrote our own custom scripts to do that already. Its all in hand.
UNN 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Quote[/b] ]Perhaps the turrets/missiles being seperate vehicles I think CBFASI has pretty much covered all that, with his work for the FLK mod in OFP. But we are always looking to improve on things. It would be nice to see mobility, for example. Added to the equation, in a reasonable way. Unfortunately so far, the best we can do, is to keep trying. dm 9 Posted October 17, 2007 The only battleship/cruiser I know of in the Royal Navy that would need a full 900 feet of dry dock would be the Admiral class Battlecruiser HMS Hood...
cbfasi 4 Posted October 17, 2007 Did I say this particular ship was RN?...
Zadoff1880 0 Posted October 17, 2007 For anyone who is wondering....CBF Shipbuilding are working alongside RKSL Studios... Oh... really?.. Well, in this case... What a pity. It did look like a very promising project
cbfasi 4 Posted October 17, 2007 The inferance and past tense is rather insulting, think carefully about putting such a post when you are so new to the community (Sep 07 it says). I have intentions of release's. much depends on problems being solved, the biggest is working out how to get UV maps from my models to texture them decently. Stewy 1 Posted October 17, 2007 Guys, this is a GREAT idea - please let's get some ships into ArmA, please, please, please! Weapons, turrets, torpedos, who cares in an Alpha release? The mission possibilities increase tenfold when the whole area of an island is enemy territory! Commando missions - here we come!
