Rocco 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Queen´s Gambit is out since 4 days but i still cant see any interest in testing the maps online. What do you think about the new maps? Scrolling the server list every day, but no GQ maps insight
Mehmehmeh 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Like you mentioned, it came out 4 days ago.... maps will come sooner or later.
SeppSchrot 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Give it some time. QG is not available all around the world yet.
celery 8 Posted October 1, 2007 I doubt players want to create QG exclusive content just yet because that would dramatically cut the number of people able to play it.
Rocco 0 Posted October 1, 2007 to clear things up, there are BIS multiplayer missions on Porto coming with the expansion, so setting up a server shouldnt be that hard. regarding availability, there is a download version...
-DirTyDeeDs--Ziggy- 0 Posted October 1, 2007 =- @ Oct. 01 2007,17:45)]...regarding availability, there is a download version... never again! I will wait for a disk release in US. I wont be testing any Porto missions for a while, mp or sp.
sbsmac 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Anybody know what you have to do on the server to make it QG compatible ? I tried uploading a Porto map but when I selected it from the lobby I just got thrown back to the missions selection.

I reckon you also have to upload the addon files changed or included in the expansion.
sbsmac 0 Posted October 1, 2007 I think you're right- QG install going on SBS server over next couple of days so we will see....
RN Escobar 0 Posted October 1, 2007 yeah server side will basically need the mod folder containg the porto island and any of the QG addons used in the mission then if any of those are used all clients will need those addons as well, possible in a mod folder, although i would think that with an island and what should be a stock addon u can just drop all that stuff into the main arma addons folders. therefore not fouling yourself of any server that runs modequals in the config and doesn't run the QG mod folder would have to test this for any conflicts, but i would hope that BIS has already done this b4 release and charging people for addons. i'd hate to think we're beta testing another release
