I've heard that OFP might be better because this one has more bugs I think. Not sure, but in IMO the bugs don't look like a game killer because judging by a game like this and because it's a flashpoint sequel it looks amazing.

I think what he is saying is... Operation Flash Point 2 will become a more enjoyable game. I have heard from various forums too that the professionalism and attention to that particular companies involvement with ironing out bugs is important to them. I'm not saying Bohemia doesn't... but thats what I think the thread starter is meaning?

It was very bugged from its release in Dec 2006 but there have been many patches that fixed most of these problems so you will be oki in buying the game and having lots of fun, and at the end of this month we expect a new patch.

Is it right saying ArmA was released with over 1000 bugs? 500 fixed in a single patch [1.08]. I should think it was one of the buggiest game releases this year if not for a long time. But its definately improved.

most of major size games were released with more than some hundreds bugs ...

from my experience as game tester

i can tell You that some of games got in date of 'GOLD' over 10000 known bugs and MMOs even more

decision by publisher was to fix that later by patches

real problem are critical level bugs which usually mean crashes or unable to continue in SP etc.

You can buy ArmA Gold Edition there are many things fixed with 1.08 patch and you get Queens Gambit (Expansion) too. Hopefully BIS will support (patches, addons, upgrades, howto's) ArmA at least next 2 years...

On the Dragons bit, I read an article and the guy writing it was referring to them as actual Dragons, not Chinese Dragon. My bad, or his bad for mis informing people?

Read the Arma is just ... disappointing and awesome threads, and you will get a pretty good idea of what people think about ArmA.
