wow they look great boss! cant wait to try them. they look more like a specific unit of the british army. i wanted to do desert ones too but cant find any decent camo images my woodland one isnt great either too much brown, not enough black i will update in future but for now im off on holiday for a couple of weeks so no more releases for a while

I'am just waiting on permision to use some of the stuff in the pics, but hopefully not to long now ,But if not ill make what ever cant be used my self & release them anyways lol.

Well done on the update. In my opinion it looks much cleaner then the first go around. Unfortunately I'm not the best judge of this kinda of thing. Either way, congrats and thanks. Your time spent adding to ArmA is greatly appreciated.

The soldiers and Harrier look excellent. I can't wait to try the brits and marines. Although, I gotta say, it just doesn't feel right to me to make this comment in someone else's topic. @ matt rochelle they are just reskins of RACS units so the p3d files are american but unfortunately theres not much i can do about this until the tools are released.

Hay bobo only listen to the positive comments as its about time the english made there mark & stand firm, as i realy love what you are doing & its about time some one other than me was concerned about the english stuff,& that it aint all about americans & russians although i have a great deal of respect for both or those nations in many ways.

I say keep a stiff upper lip & go for it ,for the english nice work & things can only get better.

I will pm you with my details maybe we can get in touch & maybe on ts which would be good.

Also i am truly very sorry as was mentioned above, for being so rude & just posting my work on your thead with out asking ,but i was so compelled after seeing that some one else other than me & the ukf are working on britsh forces i could not help my self,so i am sorry for that.

Sorry i had to say this but as your from england, i thoght it would be more fitting to cheer him on & yes they maybe only us troops painted with brithish camo,but at least some cares enough to try & make a difference for you /us & every one else that stands for england ,& am suprised that you made that comment considering your from england and all.

A little thought regarding your screenshots:

I'm not an expert in US equipment (not an expert in any equipment btw) but I wonder if any three coloured desert pattern (DBDU) flack vests (as seen on the 1st of your screenshots) have ever been issued to US troops.

Well all i can say "plasman" as being english & a sticker for detail & also no expert, i did some research & found this site,which will give you good reference on what the usmc dress like.

Hi guys have just got the final version of the ukf weapons by soulcatcher & they are in the process of testing them now as i will be doing that to,hopefully there want be any bugs touch wood fingers crossed.

If all goes well there will be a release date very soon like in the next few days/couple of weeks.

I will keep all of you guys informed of any changes to the plan.

Two OT points that deserve to be challenged before a

critique of Bobo's work:

1. "some one other than me"!? You are not the only one

working on H.M. Forces. At least three other groups

(apart from Bobo, UKF and RKSL) are working hard on British

military addons. With time there may even be more.

2. It's British, not English! There hasn't been an "English"

army since before the Act of Union in 1707, and you are

tacitly insulting several generations of Scottish, Irish and

Welsh soldiers. How could someone who describes themselves

as "a stickler for detail" make such a mistake?

@Bobo: Your DPM looks fine in terms of colours and pattern

distribution from a distance, but there seems to be no black

in it. The black is an important ingredient in the pattern and

it's absence makes your DPM look a bit like the 1970s "SAS"

windproofs. DPM actually varies quite a bit in the colour

shades depending on age, condition and manufacturer, but

the actual pattern remains the same (even the Desert DPM

uses exactly the same pattern as the original temperate

DPM - not bad for a pattern first designed by a pair of artists  

in the 1960s! )

Nice work - the DPM looks like it's coming on nicely. The boots need to be black though, not green. They do wear sand coloured ones when in desert DPM.
