What are A-level results?

Spend 2 years doing optional education to earn A levels in the UK. Its a higher grade than a GCSE which is what you get if you pass an exam and have good coursework.

I get my GCSE results on 23rd August.. crazy_o.gif

Good luck to all you A-level'ers. I will be in your shoes in 2 years time.

Well, I'm thinking of taking service as an officer (swe army), so I need to read Physics B (B is max) and Math D (E is max), so the haircut isn't enough, meh...

McWrong. In Scotland we have Highers and they only last for one year. If you decide to stay on for a 6th year you can do an Advnaced Higher if you want to take a certain subject further. For example in 5th year I did Higher History so when I stayed on for 6th year I decided to do Advanced Higher History. Thus I have now got a better qualification in History.

I already got my results a few weeks ago and my place at Aberdeen University has been confirmed.

I got my A level results a few months back for my graphic design course. Not sure why that was, because every one else i know who have gone to other colleges, and done other courses, have gotten there results today.

Must'a jus been desperate to get us useless art students out the way. tounge2.gif

Tis OK. I never really knew how it worked in the other places in the UK until today.

While we are happy for people to post specific school related questions and have forum members help them out with schoolwork, I'm afarid this is just too OT for OT.
