Honestly? It's a little bit the same with the black tape instead of the blue one, in reality and in like 300 pictures I have in my computer the Russian Army uses this magazines a lot more.

But again I'm open to suggestions and specially to learn from you guys, can anyone state for sure that they do use the drum regulary?

Those are all pics of the RPK, the older 7.62x39mm firing one. It's not the same gun.

75rnd 5.45x39mm (as fired by the RPK-74) drum mags are rather rare.

The second picture isn't an RPK-74, that seems like a modified RPK-74M and that man isn't from the Russian army I even doubt that he's Russian at all

The first and the last pictures are RPK with Drum,I have like 75 pictures here with the large 45 bullets magazine, some of this pictures were taken like 3 or 4 months ago and they are equipped in VDV soldiers as well as GRU SpetsNaz.

In my 400 pictures total I think I have 80 with RPK-74 and RPK-74M, you know how many have that Drum? 3 pictures

Great work! The only thing that stands out to me (besides the AKM muzzle compressor) is that the Russians do not mount the PBS-3 suppressor on AK-74, it was designed strictly for the AKSU - and even then it is extremely rare. In fact no suppressor is mounted on the AK-74.

And the patches also have changed, there no more path with Russian flag on the sleeve - the new patches look like this:

Yeah i know and i most probaly wont change much as its too late at least for this version but im always willing to learn and to find out what i could possibly improve later.

Afterall they are reskins so its impossible to get 100% accurate russian forces from them but so far i think we are as close as reskins allow us.

Yep, very close Beta testing has started, all small bugs have been easily fixed so... unless something dramatical happens, we intend to release Version 1 this weekend

I do not intened to add anything more (besides a small change on the Cobra scope) so this Version (1), will feature the 18 weapons posted before as well as the VDV and Marines.

In Version 2 I will as usual take some of your suggestions and I will make them come true, like the AK-47, RPK the RPK-74M just to mention a few and of course we will add new Russian Units, Steve (Shadow NX) start planning this please.

@MechaStalin - I checked your BMD-1 and it's truly a master piece of an addon, I do intend to use it in my missions alongside with my Russians but... I noticed something bad on it, the ammount of textures is incredable. You must be using like 40 or more? You should be using 1 or 2 tops

I noticed that it won't be easy to merge all of them, if you intend to do it, I can help you on this, since I'll do it for myself anyway

There is a lot of textures but quite a few are because it has a few skins included which I haven't configged as well as textures for the interior which isn't used etc.

Yeah I'm always open to new projects. I've been taking a bit of a break but expect a BMD-2 soon and I have a bit of work on a Shturm-S.
