jerryhopper 286 Posted July 3, 2007 eyo, i have been fiddling with that texview, and as im not much of a modeller/texture freak, i did somthing else with texview than the usual user... i made it possible to generate .paa files online, out of .png files. The possibilities are endless now i got it working. UPDATE:  you can now choose a model from the gallery, and  add text, and finally generate the result and download the .paa file. See THIS link for updated work in progress! http://ww.armedassault.eu/index.p....gallery here is a image generated by the script, and could change due to the above links and different source images. the .PAA of this image is available here : http://arma.valuenet.nl/squadlogo/out/converted_by_armedassault_eu.paa ( but is also subject to change ) As you see, it works and needs polishing. Didn't think it deserves its own thread, so Ill hijack this one! Seeing how ArmA can access XML files off a website, I wonder if theres any way ArmA could access other things, sutch as radio streams or video (OK maybe not video, but random pictures not just for XML, and sound) Before you start coughing and splutering about impossiblity, look at what has been accomplished in OFP! ( if you have pointers to OFP similar things, plz postem ) but i have already inserted a PassPort' embedded in the squadXML. Kirby 2 Posted July 4, 2007 I was just thinking, maybe we could have Sahrani Radio playing while we drive about in buses during Evolution. That would be awesome if there was a way for ArmA to access it off your website. I've had plenty of people say its not possible in OFP or ArmA, but look at the thinks people said about OFP stuff.
