Yes, it's quite easy to create a music pbo, here's the config of one of my Napoleonic music file :

As you see, the config is the same as for the description file, but don't forget the CfgPatches.

Hi,

I am glad you took up the job of making a mod for May 1940 Holland en Belgian. Great. Perhaps I can make my contribution!

Right now I'am working on twee islands (Ypenburg en Ockenburg). Both are airfield which were sites of fierce batlles during May 1940 in Holland.

In the past I've been experimenting with textures and changing extisting pbo's (like the early german tanks) but I didn't have time to finish them. I the mean while great models heven been produced by others!

Accept for the Generic Paradise (and Leusderheide, Havelte and Oosterbeek) there were no "Dutch" islands.

So, I'am planning three islands (Ypenburg, Ockenburg and Waalhaven - all airfields) and the area around the Moerdijk bruggen. If some is doing the same please let me now.

Futhermore I making a list of all the mods I can use. Perhaps you peolple allready did the same (as you did, refering to the Vilas mod). I was missing a mod Madsen machinegun and the Lewis machine gun made by Walker, also the dutch airplanes made by FW200!

Very soon I will post some pictures of my islands!

I remember that the Bohler 4,7 cm PAG anti-tank gun was in the Invasion 44 / Desert mod on the Italian side. They built the Austrian designed gun under license in Italy.

Bennie. Is there a space where I can put my (far from ready) Island up for a select group with some notes and pictures?

Whats the mod status how much is done?

I'm not in a hurry or anything i'm just curious to know because this mod sounds very interesting.

well

we have a basic model of a dutch soldier made by King Tiger

dutch wapons made by vilas

a Grebbebeg map of DeadParrot (famous dutch battlefield in may 1940)

ATSTwalker his fallschirmjagers

King Tiger his German wehrmacht

We will change some small things to KT his units and that is chaning his units theres heads( some problems with is cutom heads)

i am waiting for pics of new maps of Moerbijk

Movie about the battle of Moerdijk may 1940

tis a prodogando movie made by the germans in 1942

But we can still use Addon builders!

Hey Bennie,

I can't say I'm positive on this.But I think

the 100Kb rule applies to each image,rather

than the combined size of all the images in

a post.

Obviously,if I'm wrong,W0lle or one of the other

moderators will correct me.

But if you keep each pic just under 100kb,

I believe that should be ok,and allow a little

more quality.

Otherwise,go with D@nte's suggestion.

And good luck with your work.

While it's not unusual to have this many addons most people complain about too many addons. It really will depend on what the rest of the mod will be using. When I try to load too many addons my system crashes and I get and "Out of Reserved Memory" error.

Further to what Zuku has just said.

Having to download twenty plus addons for a mission is going to put a lot of people off.

I know they are quite small downloads, but still, that's a heck of a number.

Are they all neccessary?

Personally, I'd reconsider the list and make maximum use of each addon. Nothing grates more than downloading a 30meg addon pack to find one little model being used from it mad_o.gif

I fully agree with you all. I will scrutine the add ons I have used and try to cut them. Some of them are small (like UWAR grass) and can be combined in one "big" file, like Bennie suggested!

To JdB and Bennie.

The Italian part of Invasion44 built a Boehler 4,7 cm AT-gun for the desert mod (Canone da 47 35?). It was shown on their website before they joined Invasion44. Do you know who made this gun? It was the most common AT-gun in the Dutch army.

The other ones were a few 3,7 cm PAK 36 and antique 5,7 cm Krupp field guns from 1896 without recoil or traverse movement.

May we use for our Invasion of Holland mod, Gavin's soldier pack?

espacaily the early units 1939-1940.

our first idea was to rebuild the units(to replace the cutom head with a standart BIS-head) of the IOE mod** but we don't have many addons builders (3) and they are busy......

** We have permission of King Tiger
