-SWAF-Lunatic 0 Posted April 26, 2007 Download the beta patch from the news forum, download and install the latest nVidia drivers for your 8800. Then use the -mammex=512 command line, turn post processing to low, AA to low, and everything else to high. Then try again. This should solve your problem. nubbin77 0 Posted April 26, 2007 I noticed you have a hefty overclock. OFP and I am assuming Arma both kick the crap out of your cpu. I'm sure you are "rock stable" but trust me, OFP used to be the ultimate stress test for my system for stability checking temps after 8 hours of Prime 95 compared to OFP - Prime wasn't even close to being the same torture test. I'm sure your saying to yourself... BS its not temp related, and it might not be... but just try backing off the OC for a 2 hour test. If its the only thing you change and you are stable for 2 hours.. you might have an answer. If you back off to default and it still crashes, post back and see if we can propose another solution... Kirby 2 Posted April 27, 2007 These guys assume everyone knows this. Right click your ArmA shortcut, click properties, select the "Shortcut" tab and ass it after the last speakmark in the "target" line ".../ArmA/ArmA.Exe" -maxmem=512 i dont know the default target of ArmA so thats just an example of where to put -maxmem (After the ...ArmA.Exe")
