Sergei_Q 0 Posted March 7, 2007 I'm having a bug in my 1.05 ArmA (got it from Sprocket on Friday) with regards to targetting with the M136 AT4 launcher. I also know one other player who has the same problem. If this is how you're supposed to hit armoured targets: it just ain't happening in my game. When I line the sights with the target as in the picture and fire, the grenade hits ground just some 50m from me, not even close to target. Even raising the bead to the top of the BMP doesn't help, it still falls short! I only hit with M136 if I raise the sights way above the target, thus not actually seeing it. Obviously, this makes it useless as a weapon. Curiously, none of this happens with RPG-7V. Like I said, I know of one other player who had the same problem. I don't know which version he's been playing. Apparently there's players who don't suffer from this, however. So please, BIS, pimp my ride! ...uh, I mean, fix my game... At least I don't have to aim that way. I'll hit anything up to 200 meters on the mark. Have to aim slightly higher for longer distances, but I always see my target. Sergei_Q 0 Posted March 7, 2007 How far away is the BMP? It's 200 meters, or less. It seems that some people have this issue, while others don't. Have all of you tried M136 in 1.05? I haven't played earlier versions.
urbanwarrior 0 Posted March 7, 2007 it happened for me with the demo but now i've got 1.05 it doesn't
-Puma- 2 Posted March 7, 2007 Well I definatly have to aim abit higher (like threadstarter), even when the tank is sitting right next to me. Odd I tought that this was the way for every1, I've had to aim that way since 1.00...

ColonelSandersLite 0 Posted May 15, 2007 I just updated this bugreport at http://bugs.armed-assault.net/view.php?id=2187 with a couple of screenshots of where you need to aim if you are affected by this bug.
deevius 0 Posted May 15, 2007 I get this exact same problem. When aiming at a vehicle at a distance, it doesn't matter how high or low I have the crosshair it seems to hit the ground just in front of the vehicle :/
blackdog~ 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Your copy of Armed Assault is totally normal, this feature was included to make the game more realistic and challenging.
Key Dutch 0 Posted May 15, 2007 well to hit target u defenetly need raise sight untill u cant see target (for over 200m), wich is make difficul hit target  in long range, specialy when ur taget on move. couse u cant bloody see it, this iron sight block view. for extra long range over 600m, there is no solution, u need try one shot and see where its land, then agust aim. strangly i cant see this " feature includet" into RPG-7, its fire exactly where its should. Did you look at the screens I posted on the bug tracker? I have to aim OVER THE TARGET AT 75 METERS. In fact, no matter what range the target it at, I have to aim over the target. It is impossible for me to see the target in the weapons site. That my friend, is a bug. It should be like the pic above at 200 meters or so.
