I use the bizon submachgine gun nice 60 round clip

the ak-74 is powerful but the m16 has better iron sights.

If you want to blow up anything use the RPG they are more power than AT or AA soldiers weapons.

We have two different types of sights here.

Personally I prefer AK-series sight's to M-16. But that's just me and this is matter of oppinnion.

AK has open sights (also PK only different range...). But AK-series IS more reliable. Works better when dirty. Been there, done that...

I second what Assault(CAN) says. there really is no best weapon. i prefer a rifle over a short barrel weapon. the AKSU-74 and Colt Commando XMS seem to have weaker range and damage potential.

Lets here it for the C7/C8, and M-16/M-4 m8

Large scale conflicts that requires more than 1 GHZ to run is always nice, I like big battles.

As for weapons, I don't think we need anymore now.

The "best" all-around weapon in the game is the Spetz Naz's Bizon. It is capable of fully automatic fire, holds 64 rounds per clip, and is silenced. No other gun can match it in all around performance, although the G36's scope is better for sighting.

I can use all of the weapons pretty well but i like the G36 because its scope and firing modes. I would also like to see a G3a3 too or a PSG1.

I think a PSG-1 would be too unrealistic for OFP. It was never meant to be carried into the field (it wieghs about 16 pounds).

It was designed from the start by Hk to be a pure police marksman rifle. Hence the semi-auto ability for fast follow-up shots and an unchangeable Hensholdt 6x scope.

If they are going to add a new sniper rifle, it's my beleif that an M40A1 would be better suited to OFP for the U.S. side.

In OFP my personal favourite is naturally AK74+grenadelauncher

IRL, these used to be my service weapons.

RK62 7.62 assault rifle

Valmet85 .308 Sniper Rifle

Nowadays Valmet85 is replaced by Dragunov

G36, although the 36E in OFP is very "exotic", in terms of sighting optic, trigger group and damage potential.

Next fav. weapon is the Bizon. Generally i´m with smaller arms, that are easier to handle, a.e. better controllable, expecially in burst and full auto and are not in the way, not restricting my movement. Most infantry engagements (infantry against infantry) are taking part around or below 200m nowadays, no need for a pocket flak.

The GP25 really rules. When you get the touch of it theres nothing better

I just wish the accurary of assault rifles would be decreased and the power of grenades adjusted to being more "wounding" rather that killing everything in 20 meters. And after these corrections the amount of ammo carried by troops could be increased to real life standars. (6 mags + 10-20 gp25 grenades) This adjustment would bring lots of realism to OFP.

Anyway, it absolutely great already
