AoD, you really gotta stop being so bitter.

Its bad karma.

@ Overdosed.

The "Where are you" reply key has been the biggest mysteries for OFP since day one. There's no way to answer that but a workaround could be selecting the bugger who asked and clicking the ground infront of you.... so he'll trot over and, after seeing angry you with your arms folded across your chest, then you may carry on.

I honestly don't have a problem with outrunning my AI enough that I get the away. Are you doing something obviously wrong like setting them to prone or stealth and getting in a HMMWV and flooring it away?

Are you serious? It happens all the time to me.

They actually seem to know where you are anyway (unlike in OFP), so you just gotta slow down and they will catch up.

I admit to not have seen the "dont quote pictures" thing, but plz explain to me why you are saying I´m flaming?

1. I thought the picture was realy funny. I to have paid money to play this game.

2. I was beeing called "retarted" and that to me is more flaming, but no reply from you there.

So plz explain this!

Danbri, my mistake. I removed the WL I see now the context in which you were using 'retarted'. Best to PM a mod about it then post your complaint in the thread.

Overdosed:

First and easiest thing you can do is just to order them to move to your position (in the map) or via quick command. Just mark the lost soldiers, hold space and click on the floor next to you. You will then give them orders to move to coordinates next to you. Don't forget to order them to fall back in formation, when they are here though!

On the other hand, I THINK there is a radio option in the status section, in which you can report your coordinates. At least this has been in OFP, and since the radio commands seem almost ident, I believe it still exists.

I hope this solves your problem.

I usually give them a 1 6 command to stop and shut the hell up.

it would be nice if when having the map open a new reply option was avaliable: e.g "3, at <grid reference>" -- it would be ok even without voice acting, so it needn't make a lot of work for the devs.

If you ask an AI to "report status" they'll give you their grid location.

It's not a reply that a human can give normally. Sometimes you are lucky enough to have Reply>Call support>Medic! available to you, and that automatically broadcasts your grid location over the side channel.
