-SWAT- 1 Posted February 21, 2007 hm afaik the mi35 is an export version right? kinda looks like mi24F Correct, the MI 35 is the export version of modern variants of the MI
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted February 21, 2007 Which MI-24 designation corresponds to the MI-35M? Or is the MI-35M an export-only model? Haven't been able to figure that out yet...
NoRailgunner 0 Posted February 21, 2007 Some basics SUPERHIND MkIII ATE has upgraded the Russian Mi-24 helicopter fleet with a day / night target-acquisition system, 20mm turreted cannon, eight INGWE 5km range anti-tank missiles, night-vision goggles, chaff-and-flare dispensers and formation lights. This gives the helicopter a full night-attack capability. ATE has also restructured the logistics system to a computerised, western-based system. SUPERHIND MKIII B UPGRADE ATE has initiated an upgrade to the Superhind MkIII B by removing 2t of mass from the aircraft and integrating a digital glass cockpit, which will give the helicopter a Nap-Of-The-Earth (NOE) capability whilst maintaining its firepower. A new cockpit-layout will provide unsurpassed visibility. watch it: ATE Superhind Mi24V Hind and Mi24P Hind -> export version = Mi35 Hind Would be nice if the Mi-28 (Havoc) combat helicopter will fly in OFP/ArmA asap
franze 196 Posted February 21, 2007 So fixed that for you. Now go spread your bullshit somewhere else. Well Ironsight, you got his age totally wrong but you've still won a 48hr vacation and +1WL. Congrats! Next person who decides it's a great idea to make a personal attack and a public discussion of forum moderation gets a 1 week vacation. This time I'm not kidding. -ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted February 21, 2007 Would be nice if the Mi-28 (Havoc) combat helicopter will fly in OFP/ArmA asap He who searches, finds! MI-28 Havoc was already done a long time ago for OFP, not present in ArmA yet. Get DKMM's excellent MI-28 on OFP.info, here. Edit: I was asking specifically for the MI-35M version's MI-24 designation because of the twin 23mm cannon it carries in it's nose, which is the best armament any Hind version I've seen carries in a nose/chin turret... Supernova 0 Posted February 21, 2007 Hi ZG Buzzard, Vit has the Mi-35 series included in his Mi-24 pack and as far as I am concerned thats the only pack with Mi-35's out there.
JdB 151 Posted February 21, 2007 RHS did an MI-24 pack as well

profe 0 Posted February 21, 2007 vit's pack does have an mi35m iirc.
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted February 21, 2007 I've just tried Vit's MI-35M and it's not accurate: 1) The chin guns are listed as being 12,7mm machine guns instead of the 23mm cannons, and damage is of machine guns and not, ironically, like the 12,7mm machine guns portrayed in BIS's Hind, which has cannon-like power. 2) The two barrels are inaccurate: they look like two gatling guns similar to the single one installed on the BIS Hind, but instead of each rotating along its axis, they rotate around each other, as if both were two big barrels of an immense gatling gun, which looks really weird... Haven't tested any RHS MI-35, though...
Supernova 0 Posted February 22, 2007 RHS never made Mi-35's only Mi-24's and im sure of this because I have the Mi-24 pack by RHS.
USMC NEEDER 0 Posted February 22, 2007 Wow that looks cool! ive never heard of a superhind before so i guess that'll be a cool and interesting addon.

Guest RKSL-Rock Posted February 22, 2007 RockOfSl maybe you could make a Mi-35 ? If I do it will be in the long and distant future. Â The only reason the Mi-24A got made was that i was stuck on a train for 6.5 hours. Â I'm focused on making British kit atm but if the Mi-24A can be easily converted i may consider it. wolfbite 8 Posted February 22, 2007 Mi-24 vp is the non export hind with twin 23mm canons jus so you know buzzard dunno why everyone's suddenly goin on about the mi-35..... Plus There's some nice upgrades for the mi-24 p out there to looksee at. Plus i was wonderin.... Is it possible to make a crude simulation of radiation in Ofp/ArmA ... Then it would be kool to make things like Mi-24R (Mi-24RKhR ) with the grabber claws on the wing and marklight pod... Or the Hind Countermeasures chopper. Them crazy Ruskies.... still shows how many addons we could have of a single chopper too.....Truly the m-4 of the sky

Shadow NX 1 Posted February 23, 2007 First of all chances are 50/50 that there will be a Superhind from Scars the maker of the Hinds the RHS pack is based on. On his ( japanese ) blogpage there were ( are? ) pics of a early superhind model however i havent heard from him since months so i wouldnt bet on that. About the Mi-35, dont see much need for one so far as they differ not much from the 24s, fixed landing gear to absorb shock, new electronics and loadouts and that mostly about it. But dont count on a RHS update or ArmA version so far... ArmA buggy first months and the lack of tools helped to break a big part of the RHS remains i think... in other words if we dont get soem fresh blood in the team that might be it... :/ I fanyone is willing to help he can pm or mail me... doubt it though... -ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted February 23, 2007 its getting silent in the OFP / ArmA scene ( well exept reskins so far ). Thankfully as we can see still in this forum section, many of our community's grand addonmakers won't let OFP die so quickly, thank God for that, and here goes my undying thanks to them! miles teg 1 Posted February 23, 2007 Yeah I noticed it getting quiet and figured that everyone was already making addons for ArmA. But I guess not. Thats sad. Overall bad planning on BIS's part. But I won't go into my issues with how BIS is handling ArmA distribution. That's for another forum section. Whatever the case, I hope RHS doesn't disappear. That would be sad. Between RHS and ORCS, the quality of Russian addons has been amazing in OFP. At any rate, perhaps someone can ask Vit if they can modify his Mi-24/35 addon into a more accurate Mi-35 and into a Super Hind??? Their was also one other addon maker who put out a Hind pack that you can find here: http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=7607 Either of these packs could be modified nicely. Oh, also one other AWESOME Russian gunship addon that nobody mentioned was this one: http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=9144 It's a KA-52 Alligator that has perhaps some of the best effects, sounds, and animations of any helicopter addon that I've seen in OFP. When I fly this bad boy, I actually really feel like I'm in a helicopter gunship. Chris G. aka-Miles Teg<GD>
