i will wait for user reviews of 505 and if its good i will get it and use my czech version to destroy with my mad notion that i can destroy things .

p.s anyone know the limitations of having 2 x arma on a pc ?

Ill buy another one, the English version this time, so me and my brother can play online at the same time and i dont have to keep messing around with the english patch (Which has been very usefull )

Thankfully gameplay.co.uk was as good as ever and delivered my copy today. Awesome game though it seems i have alot of things to get used to.

Though I already have a German copy of(yours truly) an been playin since love the game just hope this don't turn into a tkers field of dreams or convention lol. By the way a big big big TY to Buy ArmA.com for allowing us underpriveldged Yanks to be able to play the game up until now. An a Big Big Big thanx to SickBoy an 6thSense for providing an awsome English language conversion patch that prob saved me 100's of hrs banging my head against the wall trying to fig out what the heck that character just said.

My copy should arrive from Amazon in the morning, I'm looking forward to it - except for one factor - and that is, I get the feeling when I actually install it and get playing the game, it's going to turn out to be a second hand experience after reading so much about it on these forums from the people who have seemingly been playing it since the last ice-age.

I know some smart alec will say "so dont read the forums" but curiosity gets the better of you.

I think what's interesting is the disparity in opinions of the game, some saying it's awesome, some saying it's crap. There dont seem to be that many indifferent views on it.

Mine's ordered from Amazon too. Graphically it looks nice, I'm just hoping the game physics doesn't let it down. Most of the moans I've read on the forum mostly relate to that subject, not to mention the few bugs, fps and instability issues people have reported.

Still... there's always a patch to address that issue, hopefully.

Personally, I'm going to give this game the chance it deserves. Because I firmly believe the ArmA/OPF community will all pull together on this one, regardless.

I for one will wait for the collector's edition, as I don't think it'll be out as fast as the "normal" one - at least this seems to be the policy in my country. If I should find a collector's edition, and it ISN'T ridiculously over-priced, I might buy it ASAP. Otherwise, I'll have to try and buy the collector's edition on the internet...

Yeah can't wait to see some user made air to air combat maps going thats gonna be freakin insane or perhaps I new Camel dogfight map with the Su's going against the Harriers.
