hello i have an update for ArmA:Start, it includes automatic password detection.

and because i like armedassault.eu so much, i'll only post this here....

Remember, im human too, and bugs could be in the program or installer...

What's new in this version ?

While clicking an arma link, ArmaStart checks the server if its online, and displays essential info.

you could see if its full, passworded * which you can enter in a field *

and which mission is being played, and addons loaded.

Future implementation : Addon Checker - check for missing addons.

More intuitive auto updating GUI - for use with ' full' servers, and no 'dead' moments during quering the server.

Version 0.3 is out, everybody should update to v0.3 if they have problems starting the passworded servers.

Its come to my attention that some people dont have the proper DLL's to make the application work properly.

expect a version 0.3 with a DLL-check implemented.

...actually, this is a good time to clean up my code.

Since i've been working on some serverlist ( http://abe.armamods.net/test/ ) i have been thinking of joining a Arma server, just by clicking a link on my serverlist.

well, ArmA:Start is JUST THAT! - no fancy stuff, no GUI just create a special crafted link in your website or other applications.

just like this example below.

Note: Passworded servers are supported  in v0.2 - yet

QuickJoin a 'openplaying' server via your browser!

in the ArmA-en toolbar, you'll find 4 categories of servers.

CTF,COOP,TEAM and HOLD.

Now download & install that toolbar, and start playing ArmA!
