=BFP=Cheetah 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Damn, this gives you a huge advantage. Everytime I have to take a look at the map it takes about five seconds. So I'm considering printing one too . Looks good.

RN Escobar 0 Posted January 15, 2007 A2 or A1, most decent print shops should be able to do that for you. good idea, i like it a lot
easty 0 Posted January 15, 2007 I just got it from fotki where I host my photo's they'll print anything. I think it's 24x36 and cost $12 including postage. if you go here where I cost it you can order it straight from fotki or dl the pic from there or see link above for other idea's people had. Again thanks go to Mondkalb for creating from ARMA.

Yeah, if the enemy get the better of me I can just crush them with my lil' finger. Stock cooling on the PC, but thats a different .place

Maximus_G 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Very nice! Though printing maps is a common thing in the aviation simmers community, it's very good that this is yet another game where this thing is useful. BTW, i think that first_view -> map_view time delay present in the game is quite realistic, because you actually can't look firward then look at the map and again and again almost simultaneously, until you hold your gun in one hand and the map in another. Just like it is when using binoculars, for example. And printed map is a helper, but not a cheat definitely.
Mogadon 0 Posted January 16, 2007 I used to have the map pause problem. I discovered, though, that I was forcing AA and AF through the video drivers. I set AA and AF to be application controlled for ArmA and now the map loads almost instantaneously. I'm running an Nvidia card so don't know if this will help those with ATI. GAU-8 0 Posted January 16, 2007 i think thats a great idea!. i have something similar as well...sort of. allthough yours does look great and its "current"! this is the largest i can get for now, at local print shop. (i might be able to get full color, AND larger at work..ill have to check) the large ones are black/white, but are pulled down often, when i have a few friends over i do have a binder though with color pages of the main towns, and reference landmarks coordinates though that i flip through often (sorry mods..its 10 over size limit (i think)..smallest i could get with a reference of the door) cant wait for the color sarhani to grace my comp room! easty 0 Posted January 17, 2007 mmmmh multimonitor feature and laying display screen on desk ... and you got it interactive then lol Yeah i thought that once I had completed it. It looks vibrant like an LCD. an LCD as a table top maybe a little warm. Maybe some E-paper if it ever comes out. Duel output would be amazing. I already have a DVI out to my projector. Getting a live map on there would be sweet.
libertyordeath776 0 Posted January 17, 2007 I printed out mine 34 x 28 inches. I just used the print shop deluxe 3 program, and used a hp 1210 xi all in one printer. Just had to put it together, and put it on wall.:)
