Key Commands for Saluting and other items

I know that ctrl-R lowers your weapon, I have also seen players saluting each other in game. What is the key command for that and what others are out there?

salute is the '#' key on a british keyboard, the one next to the Enter key.

Ctrl twice makes weapon safe too, shift twice changes between run/walk.

When I'm doing some mundane things like running around in a combat, my man sometimes puts his weapon to safe mode even though I have made sure that no button or combination near the WASD system even remotely does anything like that. What's going on?

If your character is standing it makes him dress his weapon

down (presumably this is what you mean by "safteying"), and

if you walk forward it makes him proceed with a "relaxed" gait.

All of the key functions are clearly described in the manual

that comes with the game (or can be inspected by opening

the key settings via the options menu).

No, firing (attempting to) will automatically raise your weapon.
