marcomio 0 Posted December 9, 2009 @petrlach: best birthday-wishes belatedly! Nice work on this mod. Concerning the caterpillars and the demanded "more free and curved upper part": Would be wrong, if you do so! Take in consideration, that the driving wheel is located at the front, so it "pulls" the track from the rear section (when driving forward). Result: The track is under tension = stretched. So it could have only very, very little curves on the upper part (when driving forward). Hence, a curved upper part of the track when driving backwards would be correct. If you had a tank with rear driving wheels, then the more free and curved upper part would be correct (when driving forward), because it "draws" the track from the front to the rear. I dont want to play a wise ass, so please dont mind. But dont change the correct display of tracks in this case. :)
Ingeneer 10 Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) marcomio, You're right. My mistake due to rear-driven russian tanks :) But have to note that non-moving BAT - artillery prime mover with the same scheme (front drivewheel) has caterpillers curved by its own weights. And we ajusted them. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6b/Bat-m.jpg/800px-Bat-m.jpg May be it's better to make some animation for selection points? petrtlach 1375 Posted December 10, 2009 Ingeneer : I have bad interpretation . I am think thant you thins cover, the I am repair. Track its good. Marcomio speaks truth, but some tanks TNH have driving wheel aback, but not this type. Majority other author 3d models make error at track, because make model with track in calm (artwork foto). But yet I mus fix "panzergrau", my its big dark. marcomio: thanks. Nice description.
Ingeneer 10 Posted December 10, 2009 Yeah - course czech panzergrau was lighter with the same RAL. What was the reason - don't know. petrtlach, can you make texture proper tricolor round to make tanks also for C-S units? Or give picture with good quality? petrtlach 1375 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Ingeneer: Czechoslovakian tanks use in germans servise RAL 7021 and from year 1943 RAL 7028, my color RAL 7021 its at this color too dark. RAL 7021 I have TNHPS too in czechoslovakian and slovakian color. Picture i add. Czechoslovakian version have extra at left side frame funk. Fuzzmaster 21 Posted January 3, 2010 I just downloaded it and I must say it's a really good mod. Units are really well done and it's really interesting to play in this unusual (for a game) and quite unkown period of time (the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1938). For sure, one of the best mods about world war 2 (with Invasion 44). I'm just disapointed there aren't a lot of comments about the demo because it's a really nice mod. Keep up the good work! :bounce3:
belgerot 33 Posted January 3, 2010 I'm very pleased as well with this demo release. Following progress for the past year alone, it is well worth the wait to finally have these units in my personal game.
Von Rundstedt 0 Posted January 3, 2010 Downloaded it same day it was released, but didn't have chance to try it out. Now I finally had a chance and it certainly lived up my expectations. Great work! I only wish I would actually have more time to play...

petrtlach 1375 Posted January 3, 2010 mountain riflemans have as weapon rifle Mo.33/40 (made Zbrojovka Brno, adjustment czechoslovakian carabine Mo.33). For germans toups 1938-1940 i have too mountain rifles, but in uniform M35 and out of edelweiss (from may 1939), this troop have too Bergmütze (not M43!!). derk yall 0 Posted January 3, 2010 Wonderfull details on the uniform. I can clearly see, that you made a very good efort on research. The mountains troops have the correct leggins. Will you make aslo some german units with the A-frame and mountain troops backpack? seen there: http://www.gebirgsjager.de/Bilder/geschichte/ww2/41album/Bilder/41-004_jpg.jpg Only one thing that I'm not realy sure, is if the german mountain troops used the Y-straps. Because on most photos I'had seen they dont have them.

belgerot 33 Posted January 4, 2010 I'm very happy to see small hidden details such as the new Sudetendeutsche combatants with an appearance of early model helms such as the transitional M16/18 type. The Czech troops too deserve notice, the details in uniform and in particular for me the pack is outstanding. Excellent job again!
